Premiering in the U.S. today is the Norwegian mini-series Atlantic Crossing written by Alexander Eik & Linda May Kallestein, directed by Eik and starring Sofia Helin, Kyle MacLachlan and Tobias Santelmann. The show’s original music is composed by Raymond Enoksen (Haunted, Ice Road Rescue). Dreamscore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year when the 8-part drama premiered overseas. Also premiering tonight is the Fox TV special Malika the Lion Queen directed by Karin Slater and narrated by Angela Bassett. Jasha Klebe (Planet Earth II, The Black Godfather, Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom, Medal of Honor, Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes) has composed the original music for the special. The documentary, which follows a powerful pride of lions in South Africa’s Kruger National Park and explores the exhilarating and harrowing life of lioness Malika, will air on Fox tonight. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British/New Zealand mini-series The Luminaries directed by Claire McCarthy, written by Eleanor Catton based on his novel of the same title and starring Eva Green, Himesh Patel, Eve Hewson, Ewen Leslie and Marton Csokas. The show’s original music is composed by David Long (6 Days, McLaren, Ice). Club Champion has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year. Also premiering tonight following two preview episodes earlier this year is the Fox animated comedy The Great North created by Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin & Minty Lewis and starring Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Megan Mullally, Will Forte, Paul Rust, Dulcé Sloan and Aparna Nancherla. John Kimbrough (Man with a Plan, Man Up!) & Scott Seiver are composing the show’s original music. Jeff Russo Scoring CBS’ ‘Clarice’

Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy) is scoring the new CBS drama Clarice. The show is developed by Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek, Now You See Me) & Jenny Lumet (Rachel Getting Married) and stars Rebecca Breeds in the title role, alongside Michael Cudlitz, Lucca De Oliveira, Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Devyn Tyler and Marnee Carpenter. The series tells the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling as she returns to the field in 1993, one year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs.

Premiering tonight is the new Showtime original series Moonbase 8 created by Fred Armisen, Jonathan Krisel, Tim Heidecker & John C. Reilly and starring Armisen, Heidecker and Reilly themselves. The show’s original music is composed by Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips who made his scoring debut on the comedy. The A24 production centers on three astronauts stationed at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator in a remote part of the Arizona desert as they encounter many obstacles including loneliness, self-doubt and their own incompetence. Premiering tomorrow, November 9, is the HBO original series Industry created by Mickey Down & Konrad Kay and starring Myha’la Herrold, Marisa Abela, Nabhaan Rizwan, Harry Lawtey, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill and Ken Leung. Electronic music producer Nathan Micay has composed the show’s original music. CBS’ ‘B Positive’ to Feature Theme Song by Keb’ Mo’ and Original Score by Dennis C. Brown & Grant Geissman

Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and guitarist Keb’ Mo’ has recorded the main title song for the new CBS comedy B Positive created by Marco Pennette (Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty), executive produced by Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, The Kominsky Method) and stars Thomas Middleditch, Annaleigh Ashford, Kether Donohue, Sara Rue, Izzy G and Terrence Terrell. He also co-wrote the track with Lorre. The show’s original score is composed by Dennis C. Brown & Grant Geissman who previously collaborated with Lorre on such shows as Two and a Half Men, Dharma & Greg and Mike & Molly. The series revolves around a therapist and newly divorced dad who is faced with finding a kidney donor when he runs into a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers her own.

Premiering on Tuesday, March 31, is the HBO Sports documentary The Scheme directed by Pat Kondelis about Christian Dawkins who was convicted in federal court in the biggest criminal case in collegiate sports history. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Boy Erased, The Gift, Ozark, Enemy, Fear the Walking Dead).
