Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British/New Zealand mini-series The Luminaries directed by Claire McCarthy, written by Eleanor Catton based on his novel of the same title and starring Eva Green, Himesh Patel, Eve Hewson, Ewen Leslie and Marton Csokas. The show’s original music is composed by David Long (6 Days, McLaren, Ice). Club Champion has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year. Also premiering tonight following two preview episodes earlier this year is the Fox animated comedy The Great North created by Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin & Minty Lewis and starring Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Megan Mullally, Will Forte, Paul Rust, Dulcé Sloan and Aparna Nancherla. John Kimbrough (Man with a Plan, Man Up!) & Scott Seiver are composing the show’s original music. Fox’s ‘The Great North’ to Feature Original Score by John Kimbrough & Scott Seiver

John Kimbrough (Man with a Plan, Winter Passing, Man Up!) & Scott Seiver are co-scoring the new Fox animated comedy The Great North. The show is created and written by Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin & Minty Lewis and features the voices of Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Megan Mullally, Will Forte, Dulcé Sloan, Paul Rust and Aparna Nancherla. The series follows the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family, as a single dad does his best to keep his kids close – especially his only daughter whose artistic dreams lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall.

Premiering tomorrow, October 24, is the new CBS comedy Man with a Plan created by Jackie & Jeff Filgo (That 70’s Show) and starring Matt LeBlanc, Liza Snyder, Kevin Nealon, Diana Maria Riva, Matt Cook and Jessica Chaffi. The show’s original music is composed by John Kimbrough (Winter Passing, Jump Tomorrow, A Decade Under the Influence). The series follows a contractor who must take on a more active parenting role when his wife goes back to work for the first time in 13 years. The comedy will air every Monday night on CBS. Premiering on Thursday, October 27, is the new CBS comedy The Great Indoors created by Mike Gibbons and starring Joel McHale, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Susannah Fielding, Christine Ko, Shaun Brown, Stephen Fry and Chris Williams. Ben and Scott Hoffman are composing the show’s original music. The series revolves around an adventure reporter who, after being sidelined by an injury, suddenly finds himself in his magazine’s digital/social media department, where he must manage a group of millennials.
