Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Disclosure Day. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star WarsJurassic Park, JawsE.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost ArkHarry Potter and the Sorcerer’s StoneSchindler’s List). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, June 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Waxwork Records will release a CD and vinyl edition. A first track (listen…) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. Disclosure Day is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo. The Amblin Entertainment production written by David Koepp follows a cybersecurity expert and a meteorologist who go on the run after exposing a government cover-up proving that extraterrestrial intelligence has visited and been concealed from the world. The film will be released in theaters nationwide on June 12 by Universal Pictures.     Probably his last work, because his age. But looks like a good movie, like almost every movie from Spielberg. A great goodbye from the greatest film score composer of history.

    Looking forward to the score! Shame that Back Lot licensed it to Funko-Mondo. No idea why they didn’t go with Mutant or Waxwork, two labels that have shown care and craft with their vinyl releases, instead of what Funko has done to the Mondo label.
