Thibault Chavanis (Kill Your Lover, The Impact) has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Full Moon Rising: The Charles Band Story. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Full Moon Rising: The Charles Band Story is directed by Sarah Appleton and chronicles the life and career of Charles Band, producer/director of such genre classics as Re-Animator, Puppetmaster, From Beyond, Trancers and Evil Bong. The movie explores his early career (discovering John Carpenter who edited his sex comedy Last Foxtrot in Burbank ), the Empire Pictures debacle, his Full Moon features success story, and how his Media and Wizard labels helped launch the 1980s home video boom, told in his own words and those closest to him. The movie is premiering today at London FrightFest.
