The details of the first soundtrack album for Marvel’s Disney+ original series VisionQuest have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the first four episodes of the show composed by Mick Giacchino (The Penguin, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, The Muppets Mayhem, Zootopia+, Extinct, Surviving Hurricane Otis, That Dirty Black Bag). The Volume 1 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 22 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s final two tracks below. A second volume featuring the composer’s score from Episodes 5-8 is expected to be released next month. VisionQuest is created by Terry Matalas based on the Marvel Comics and stars Paul Bettany, James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, Todd Stashwick, Lauren Morais, Diane Morgan, Orla Brady, Polly Frame, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Lewis, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arc.

Premiering today is the MGM+ limited series Treasure Island created by Robert Murphy inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel and starring David Oyelowo, Hayley Atwell, Jack Huston, Tomer Capone and Tom Sweet. The show’s original music is composed by Alex Baranowski (True Things, The Teacher, Frauds, The Windmere Children, Locked In, Midas Man, Brides, The Kitchen, Rain Dogs, A Perfect Enemy). Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, October 12, is the Belgian limited series This Is Not a Murder Mystery directed by Hans Herbots and starring Pierre Gervais, Lauren Versnick, Jonathan Delaney Tynan,Frank Bourke, Florence Hall, Iñaki Mur, Mike Hoffmann and Regina Bikkinina. Justine Bourgeus (Squeal, Leef, Godvergeten) & Hannes De Maeyer (Professor T, Torpedo, Winter, The Couple Next Door, Gangsta, Rebel, Noise, Patience) have composed the show’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past March. John Paesano & Adam Hochstatter Scoring Disney+’s ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: The Getaway’
John Paesano (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Daredevil, The Maze Runner, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Cheaper by the Dozen, Truth Be Told) & Adam Hochstatter are returning to score the upcoming Disney+ original animated movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: The Getaway. The film directed by Matt Danner is the fifth animated feature adaptation of Jeff Kinney’s popular book series and follows the Heffley family who make a last-minute decision (to Greg’s dismay) to escape to an all-inclusive island resort for some much-needed rest and relaxation and soon discover that paradise may not be everything it’s cracked up to. Kinney also wrote the screenplay and is producing the project.
‘Adventure Time: Side Quests’ Soundtrack Album Released
WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for Cartoon Network Studios’ Hulu/Disney+ original animated series Adventure Time: Side Quests. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first two seasons composed by Matthew Janszen (Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Bugs Bunny Builders, Fatal Affair, Megamind Rules, Love Accidentally). Also included are The Moldy Peaches’ main title and end title (Island Song) songs, several tracks by Shawn Wasabi, as well as the other songs from the series written by Janszen & others. ‘Food Samurai’ Soundtrack Album Details
Zach Nicita (Grassland) & Maria Vertiz Cortina (Above & Below, Shaman, Uncle Trouble, With the Years That I Have Left, Evil Dress) will release a soundtrack album for the French/Japanese Disney+ original documentary series Food Samurai (Food Samouraï). The album features selections of the composers’ original score from the show, as well as the song No Tears to Cry by Eliezer Nebot. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 30 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Food Samurai sis created and directed by Eric Nebot and follows Michelin-starred chef Mory Sacko, accompanied by pastry chef and friend Theó Segretin and guests including Omar Sy, Pierre Gagnaire, Shihiro Masui & others, as he immerse himself in Japanese culture and gastronomy to unlock how to prepare the perfect bento.
