Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Belgian limited series This Is Not a Murder Mystery. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Justine Bourgeus (Squeal, Leef, Godvergeten) & Hannes De Maeyer (Gangsta, The Couple Next Door, Professor T, Torpedo, Rebel, Noise, Patience, Rafaël, The Racer). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ Grande Ouverture after the jump. This Is Not a Murder Mystery is directed by Hans Herbots and stars Pierre Gervais, Lauren Versnick, Jonathan Delaney Tynan, Florence Hall, Frank Bourke, Iñaki Mur, Mike Hoffmann and Regina Bikkinina. The 6-parter is set in 1936, just as the art world is abuzz with the rise of surrealism, and follows a young painter trying to clear his name after waking up next to a dead woman in an opulent English estate. The series premiered in Belgium last October on VRT 1 and in other European markets over the last couple of months. No word yet on a domestic release date.
