Silva Screen Records has announced the premiere soundtrack release for the 60th Specials of the BBC drama Doctor Who written by Russell T Davies and starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate. The album features the original music from the three special episodes The Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder & The Giggle composed by Murray Gold (Gentleman Jack, Dead Ringers, Torchwood, Magpie Murders, A Very English Scandal, It’s a Sin, Quiz). The soundtrack will be released as a 3-CD set on November 27 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the BBC crime drama This City Is Ours. Bucks Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC comedy drama Small Prophets. The album features the show’s original score composed by Cinder Well (the musical project of Amelia Baker). Also included is the theme song, The Wise Man’s Song, which has previously been released as a digital single, as well as a demo version of the track.
