Silva Screen Records has released a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama Class created by Patrick Ness and starring Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Vivian Oparah, Sophie Hopkins and Katherine Kelly. The 10th Anniversary Edition features selections of original music from the Doctor Who spin-off composed by Blair Mowat (Nolly, After the Flood, The Guest, The Amazing Mr. Blunden, McDonald & Dodds, Doctor Jekyll, The Age of Disclosure, Electric Man), including the tracks from the now out-of-print bonus CD, as well as six previously unreleased cues. ‘After the Flood’ Soundtrack Album Released
MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the ITV drama After the Flood. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Blair Mowat (Class, Nolly, The Guest, Doctor Jekyll, The Amazing Mr. Blunden, McDonald & Dodds, The Age of Disclosure, Electric Man). After the Flood is created by Mick Ford and stars Sophie Rundle, Philip Glenister, Lorraine Ashbourne, Jonas Armstrong, Nicholas Gleaves, Matt Stokoe, Jacqueline Boatswain and Anita Adam Gabay. The series is set in a town hit by a devastating flood and follows a police offer who becomes obsessed with discovering what happened to an unidentified man who is found dead in a lift in an underground car park.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the movie musical Wicked: For Good directed by Jon M. Chu and starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slate and Bowen Yang. The film’s original score is composed by John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity, Shrek, Happy Feet, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Don’t Worry Darling, X-Men: The Last Stand) and Stephen Schwartz (The Prince of Egypt, Pocahontas, Pippin). Republic Records & Verve Label Group have released a soundtrack album featuring the Schwartz-penned songs (including two new original tracks) from the movie today (click here for the full album details) and will release a separate album featuring Powell’s & Schwartz’s score on December 5 (click here for the album details and to learn more about the Universal Pictures release).
Also opening wide is the comedy drama Rental Family co-written and directed by Hikari and starring Brendan Fraser, Takehiro Hira, Akira Emoto, Mari Yamamoto and Shannon Mahina Gorman. Sigur Rós lead singer Jónsi (We Bought a Zoo, Aloha, Without Remorse) and Alex Somers (Captain Fantastic, Nickel Boys, Honey Boy, Causeway, Holland, Together, Together, Dawson City: Frozen Time) have composed the film’s original music. Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score las month following the drama’s UK debut on BBC One.
