Blake Neely (Masters of the Air, The Pacific, The Flight Attendant, The Flash, You, Greyhound, Everwood, Arrow, Riverdale, Life As We Know It) has composed the original music for the new National Geographic original documentary Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story. The film is directed by Laurent Bouzereau (Music by John Williams, Faye) and chronicles the making of Steven Spielberg’s 1975 classic Jaws, from Peter Benchley’s bestselling novel to the cinematic phenomenon it became, with the director himself diving back into the story that launched his career and earned him final cut on the film, a creative control he has maintained for the last 50 years. The movie features never-before-seen footage from Spielberg’s and producer Wendy Benchley’s personal archives, including home videos and rare outtakes, as well as interviews with cast and crew (including John Williams).

Steven Spielberg to Produce John Williams Documentary
Steven Spielberg has revealed at the UK premiere of the director’s latest feature, The Fabelmans, earlier this week that is currently working on a documentary about his long-time collaborator John Williams. THR is reporting that the film centering on the Academy Award-winning composer of Star Wars, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., Jurassic Park & Schindler’s List will be directed by Laurent Bouzereau who has previously produced hundreds of behind-the-scenes featurettes for movies directed by Spielberg and others.
