Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the animated feature Zootopia 2 directed by Jared Bush & Byron Howard and starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Quinta Brunson, Fortune Feimster, Shakira, Ke Huy Quan, Macaulay Culkin, Patrick Warburton and Nate Torrence. The film’s original score is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Ratatouille, Lost, The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jurassic World, Inside Out, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Incredibles, Star Trek). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the original song Zoo performed by Shakira last Friday. Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Eternity co-written and directed by David Freyne and starring Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, Callum Turner, John Early, Olga Merediz and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. David Fleming (Superman, The Last of Us, The Alto Knights, Damsel, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Unforgivable, Jim Henson: Idea Man, Americana) has composed the film’s original music. A24 Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Wednesday. ‘Hamnet’ Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for Chloé Zhao’s drama Hamnet have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Spaceman). Also included is the composer’s piece On the Nature of Daylight, which he incorporated into his score. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on November 21 by Decca Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD and vinyl edition) and here (digital version). ‘My Brilliant Friend’ Season 4 Soundtrack Album Announced

Deutsche Grammophon has released a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series My Brilliant Friend. The album features the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Miss Sloane), as well as several tracks from the composer’s Recomposed By Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons album and a cue from his score for the 2008 film Henry May Long. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to two of the new tracks below. The label has previously released three albums featuring Richter’s music from Season 1, Season 2 & Season 3. over the last couple of years. The final season of the drama is based on the bestselling novel My Brilliant Friend: The Story of the Lost Child, the fourth book of the quadrilogy by Elena Ferrante and stars Alba Rohrwacher, Irene Maiorino, Fabrizio Gifuni, Stefano Dionisi, Pier Giorgio Bellocchio, Anna Rita Vitolo, Daria Deflorian, Eduardo Scarpetta, Lino Musella, Edoardo Pesce and Sonia Bergamasco.

The album features selections of the show’s original music, including the themes composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Spaceman) and the score composed by Jon Opstad (Bodies, The Woman in White, Black Mirror: White Christmas & White Bear, We Hunt Together, Safe House). The show’s original music is composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Spaceman) and Jon Opstad (Bodies, Black Mirror: White Bear & White Christmas, The Woman in White, We Hunt Together) . Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music on May 3. Premiering on Wednesday, May 1, is the British Disney+/Hulu original series Shardlake developed by Stephen Butchard based on C.J. Decca Records & Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Spaceman. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Miss Sloane). Also included is the original song Don’t Go Away by Richter feat. Sparks (already out now as a digital single now). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, March 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Spaceman is directed by Johan Renck and stars Adam Sandler, Carey Mulligan, Paul Dano, Kunal Nayyar, Isabella Rossellini and Lena Olin. The sci-fi drama follows a lonely astronaut six months into a solo mission as he confronts the cracks in his marriage with help from a mysterious creature he discovers on his ship.
