Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV original documentary series Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anže Rozman (The Americas, Beckham, Universe), Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Faraway Downs, The Simpons) & Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean) who recently received an Emmy Award nomination for their work on the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ main theme after the jump. Lakeshore Records has previously released two albums featuring Rozman’s, Talve’s & Zimmer’s music from Prehistoric Planet Season 1 & Season 2 back in 2022 & 2023. Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age is executive produced by Jon Favreau & Mike Gunton, produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit and narrated by actor Tom Hiddleston. The 5-parter invites viewers into a dramatic new era of prehistoric life, millions of years after the extinction of the dinosaurs – an era shaped by ice, the intense fight to survive and the rise of a new cast of giants: the iconic megafauna.

Hans Zimmer & Bleeding Fingers Music to Score HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ TV Series
HBO announced today that Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, As Good As It Gets, Inception, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel, Rain Man) and Bleeding Fingers will compose the score for the upcoming HBO original Harry Potter series. Zimmer will be collaborating with his Bleeding Fingers Music team, including including composers Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Faraway Downs) & Anže Rozman (Prehistoric Planet, Beckham, Universe) to score the show written by Francesca Gardiner (His Dark Materials) based on J.K. Rowling’s bestselling novels and starring Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout, Arabella Stanton, John Lithgow, Paapa Essiedu, Janet McTeer and Nick Frost.

Kara Talve & Sami Goldberg Scoring Chris Foggin’s ‘Tinsel Town’
Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Prehistoric Planet, Faraway Downs, The Americas, The Simpsons) & Sami Goldberg (Outrageous, A Finnish Holiday) (for Bleeding Fingers Music) have provided the original score for the upcoming holiday comedy Tinsel Town. The film is directed by Chris Foggin (Bank of Dave, Fisherman’s Friends) and stars Kiefer Sutherland, Rebel Wilson, Catherine Ryan, Derek Jacobi, Mawaan Rizwan, Maria Friedman, Alice Eve, Jason Manford, Asim Chaudhry, Danny Dyer,Lucien Laviscount, James Lance, Meera Syal, Ray Fearon, Theodora Williams, Matilda Firth, Savannah Lee Smith and Eden Hamilton. The movie follows a failed Hollywood action star who ends up in a small, snow-dusted village to star in the town’s eccentric production of Cinderella, where he encounters a colorful cast of oddball locals, including a no-nonsense choreographer, who slowly come to hold a special place in his heart.

The full details of the soundtrack album for the NBC nature documentary series The Americas have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception), Anže Rozman (Prehistoric Planet, Beckham, Universe, The Planets) & Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Prehistoric Planet, Faraway Downs, The Simpsons. Also included is the main theme written by Zimmer & Andrew James Christie (previously released released as a digital single), as well as Brandi Carlile’s original song Wandering (also already out now). The Americas is executive produced by Mike Gunton, narrated by Tom Hanks and explores the worlds and wildlife of North and South America.

The series directed by Marc Munden (Utopia, The Third Day) tells the story of a group of young schoolchildren who find themselves stranded on a tropical island with no adults, following a deadly plane crash.

Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the Peacock/Sky limited series The Tattooist of Auschwitz. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Dune, Inception, Rain Man) and Kara Talve (Prehistoric Planet, Faraway Downs). Also included is the end credits song Love Will Survive written by Zimmer, Talve, Walter Afanasieff & Charlie Midnight and performed by Barbra Streisand (already available as a digital single now).
