Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV original documentary series Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anže Rozman (The Americas, Beckham, Universe), Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Faraway Downs, The Simpons) & Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean) who recently received an Emmy Award nomination for their work on the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ main theme after the jump. Hans Zimmer & Bleeding Fingers Music to Score HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ TV Series
HBO announced today that Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, As Good As It Gets, Inception, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel, Rain Man) and Bleeding Fingers will compose the score for the upcoming HBO original Harry Potter series. Zimmer will be collaborating with his Bleeding Fingers Music team, including including composers Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Faraway Downs) & Anže Rozman (Prehistoric Planet, Beckham, Universe) to score the show written by Francesca Gardiner (His Dark Materials) based on J.K. Rowling’s bestselling novels and starring Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout, Arabella Stanton, John Lithgow, Paapa Essiedu, Janet McTeer and Nick Frost.
Soundtrack Album for NBC’s & BBC’s ‘The Americas’ to Be Released
The full details of the soundtrack album for the NBC nature documentary series The Americas have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception), Anže Rozman (Prehistoric Planet, Beckham, Universe, The Planets) & Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Prehistoric Planet, Faraway Downs, The Simpsons. Also included is the main theme written by Zimmer & Andrew James Christie (previously released released as a digital single), as well as Brandi Carlile’s original song Wandering (also already out now). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 21 by Back Lot Music (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). The Americas is executive produced by Mike Gunton, narrated by Tom Hanks and explores the worlds and wildlife of North and South America.

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Beckham. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anže Rozman (Prehistoric Planet, Universe, The Planets, Great Bear Rainforest) & Camilo Forero (Earthstorm, Hollywood Black) for Bleeding Fingers Music who received an Emmy Award nomination for their score. Beckham is directed by Fisher Stevens and follows David Beckham’s meteoric rise from humble beginnings to global football stardom.

The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Anže Rožman (The Planets, Great Bear Rainforests, Universe), Kara Talve (Perpetual Planet: Heroes of the Oceans) and Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune). Zimmer & Andrew James Christie (The Flood) have written the Prehistoric Planet Theme. The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Monday, May 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the composers’ music from Season 1 last year.
‘Frozen Planet II’ Soundtrack Album Details
Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC natural history series Frozen Planet II. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (Dune, The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight), Adam Lukas (Primates) & James Everingham (Apollo: Missions to the Moon, The Real Right Stuff) for Bleeding Fingers Music feat. Norwegian singer/songwriter AURORA. The opening titles music is written by Zimmer and Anže Rozman (Prehistoric Planet, The Planets). Russell Emanuel serves as the score producer and Greg Rappaport & Marsha Bowe are the score supervisors. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 7 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A 2-CD version will be coming out on October 21.

Premiering on Friday, May 27, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi directed by Deborah Chow and starring Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Rupert Friend, Sung Kang and Benny Safdie. John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark) has written a new theme for the title character and Natalie Holt (Loki, Journey’s End, Knightfall, Herself, Beecham House) has composed the original score. Hans Zimmer Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘Prehistoric Planet’
Hans Zimmer is composing original music for the upcoming Apple TV+ natural history series Prehistoric Planet. The composer is co-scoring the show with Anze Rozman (The Planets, Universe) and Kara Talve (Perpetual Planet: Heroes of the Oceans) for Bleeding Fingers Music. He also co-wrote the series’ theme with Andrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The 5-part documentary is narrated by Sir David Attenborough and recreates the last days of the dinosaurs and uses CGI to take viewers back in time, experiencing the wonders of planet Earth 66 million years ago. Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian, The Jungle Book) and Mike Gunton (Dynasties, The Green Planet) are executive producing the project from BBC Studios’ Bristol-based Natural History Unit.
Soundtrack Album for BBC Earth’s ‘Universe’ Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC Earth natural history series Universe. The album features the show’s original music composed by Anže Rozman (Great Bear Rainforest, The Planets, Big Beasts: Last of the Giants) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, January 28 and will be available to stream/download here. Universe follows world-renowned British physicist, Professor Brian Cox as he takes viewers back in time, far beyond our solar system and out into the vastness of space. The 5-parter explores the dramatic story of the origin of the Universe from its formation 13.8 billion years ago to a glimpse into its future trillions of years from now.
