Back Lot Music has released the main theme from the NBC nature documentary series The Americas. The track composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer and arranged by Andrew James Christie (Prehistoric Planet, The Flood) is now available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the theme after the jump. A full soundtrack album featuring the show’s score composed by Zimmer, Anze Rozman & Kara Talve is expected to be released in the coming weeks. The Americas is executive produced by Mike Gunton, narrated by Tom Hanks and reveals the spectacular landscapes of Earth’s most varied landmass, the only one to stretch between both poles. The BBC Studios Natural History Unit & Universal Television production currently airs in the U.S. every Sunday on NBC (and premieres on Peacock the following day) and in the UK every Sunday on BBC One.
