Natalie Holt (Loki, KnightfallJourney’s End, HerselfFever DreamBeecham HousePress) has composed the original score for the upcoming Disney+ original series Obi-Wan Kenobi. The show is directed by Deborah Chow and stars Ewan McGregor Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, Bonnie Piesse, Indira Varma, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. The drama takes place 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan faced the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. Chow is also executive producing the Lucasfilm production with writer Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Underground), Kathleen Kennedy (Jurassic ParkThe Sixth Sense) and Michelle Rejwan (Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of SkywalkerWillow). As previously reported, John Williams has composed the main theme for the project. Holt confirmed her involvement in an interview with Vanity Fair. Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on May 27, 2022 exclusively on Disney+.
