Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV original documentary series Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anže Rozman (The Americas, Beckham, Universe), Kara Talve (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Faraway Downs, The Simpons) & Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean) who recently received an Emmy Award nomination for their work on the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ main theme after the jump. Lakeshore Records has previously released two albums featuring Rozman’s, Talve’s & Zimmer’s music from Prehistoric Planet Season 1 & Season 2 back in 2022 & 2023. Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age is executive produced by Jon Favreau & Mike Gunton, produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit and narrated by actor Tom Hiddleston. The 5-parter invites viewers into a dramatic new era of prehistoric life, millions of years after the extinction of the dinosaurs – an era shaped by ice, the intense fight to survive and the rise of a new cast of giants: the iconic megafauna.

‘Prehistoric Planet’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ natural history event series Prehistoric Planet. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Anže Rožman (The Planets, Great Bear Rainforests, Universe), Kara Talve (Perpetual Planet: Heroes of the Oceans) and Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune). Zimmer & Andrew James Christie (The Flood) have written the Prehistoric Planet Theme. The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Monday, May 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the composers’ music from Season 1 last year.

Zimmer & Andrew James Christie (The Flood) have written the Prehistoric Planet Theme. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 24 and will be available to stream/download here. Prehistoric Planet is narrated by Sir David Attenborough and presents little-known and surprising facts of dinosaur life set against the backdrop of the environments of Cretaceous times, including coasts, deserts, freshwater, ice worlds and forests.

Premiering tomorrow, May 23, is the Apple TV+ natural history series Prehistoric Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton. The show’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, Dune), Anze Rozman (The Planets, Universe) and Kara Talve. Zimmer also co-wrote the project’s theme with ndrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. Premiering on Friday, May 27, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi directed by Deborah Chow and starring Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Rupert Friend, Sung Kang and Benny Safdie. John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark) has written a new theme for the title character and Natalie Holt (Loki, Journey’s End, Knightfall, Herself, Beecham House) has composed the original score. Hans Zimmer Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘Prehistoric Planet’
Hans Zimmer is composing original music for the upcoming Apple TV+ natural history series Prehistoric Planet. The composer is co-scoring the show with Anze Rozman (The Planets, Universe) and Kara Talve (Perpetual Planet: Heroes of the Oceans) for Bleeding Fingers Music. He also co-wrote the series’ theme with Andrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The 5-part documentary is narrated by Sir David Attenborough and recreates the last days of the dinosaurs and uses CGI to take viewers back in time, experiencing the wonders of planet Earth 66 million years ago. Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian, The Jungle Book) and Mike Gunton (Dynasties, The Green Planet) are executive producing the project from BBC Studios’ Bristol-based Natural History Unit.
