The full details of the soundtrack album for Chloé Zhao’s drama Hamnet have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Spaceman). Also included is the composer’s piece On the Nature of Daylight, which he incorporated into his score. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on November 21 by Decca Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD and vinyl edition) and here (digital version). Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released the first two tracks from the original score from Marvel Studios’ Eternals. ‘Nomadland’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Decca Classics will release a soundtrack album for Chloé Zhao’s drama Nomadland. The album features the compositions by Ludovico Einaudi (The Intouchables, The Father, Samba, This Is England) from the movie, as well as tracks by Ólafur Arnalds, Cat Clifford, Nat King Cole, Paul Winer, Donnie Miller & Tay Strathairn. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 6 and will be available to download on Amazon. The Rider is written and directed by Chloé Zhao and stars Brady Jandreau, Tim Jandreau, Lilly Jandreau, Leroy Pourier, Cat Clifford, Tanner Langdeau, James Calhoon and Lane Scott. Nathan Halpern has recently composed the music for the drama The Rider. The film is written and directed by Chloé Zhao (Songs My Brothers Taught Me) and stars Brady Jandreau, Tim Jandreau, Lilly Jandreau, Lane Scott and Cat Clifford. The movie centers on a young cowboy who undertakes a search for new identity and tries to redefine what it means to be a man in the heartland of America after a tragic riding accident. Bert Hamelinck (The Diary of a Teenage Girl Sacha Ben Harroche and Mollye Asher (Fort Tilden, She’s Lost Control) are producing the project.
Peter Golub Scoring ‘Songs My Brothers Taught Me’
Peter Golub has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Songs My Brothers Taught Me. The film is written and directed by Chloé Zhao and stars John Reddy, Jashaun St. John, Irene Bedard, Taysha Fuller, Travis Lone Hill and Eléonore Hendricks. The movie takes place at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and follows a brother and his younger sister, who find themselves on separate paths to rediscovering the meaning of home. Zhao is also producing the project with Forest Withaker & Nina Yang Bongiovi (Fruitvale Station, Repentance), Angela C. Lee and Mollye Asher.
