Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the psychological thriller Primetime directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson, Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher and Bokeem Woodbine. The film’s original score is composed by Ari Balouzian (Some Kind of Heaven, You Can See Everything, Monsters of God, Ren Faire, Atropia, Spermworld). A24 Music has releases a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original end credits song by Phoebe Bridgers today. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 25. H. Scott Salinas (Warrior, A Private War, The Banker, Cartel Land, Elevation) and Chris Ruggiero (Minding the Gap, One Child Nation, Camp Courage) contributed additional music to the show directed by Jenna Rosher (Keep This Between Us) & Kief Davidson (The Ivory Game, A Lego Mockumentary) about the dark realities of social media fame. The 3-parter explores the shadowy world of child influencers, honing in on the disturbing allegations of abuse surrounding popular internet celebrity Piper Rockelle and her momager Tiffany Smith.

Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today. The Orchard has released a soundtrack album for the comedy Coup!. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nathan Halpern (The Rider, Emily the Criminal, Swallow, Watcher, In the Same Breath, Minding the Gap, Consecration). Coup! is written and directed by Joseph Schuman & Austin Stark and stars Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Magnussen, Sarah Gadon and Skye P. Marshall. The movie follows a mysterious grifter who appears on an isolated seaside estate claiming to be the new chef of a wealthy family and – when a plague descends on the island – rouses his fellow staff to rebel and take over the mansion.
