Dahlia Blues has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Yanuni. The album features the film’s original score composed by H. Scott Salinas (Warrior, A Private War, Cartel Land, The Banker, Elevation, The Birth of the Dragon, Full Swing, City of Ghosts, Tiger). Also included is the original song No Front by Eric Terena & Katu Mirim. Yanuni is directed by Richard Ladkani and follows the journey of Juma Xipai, an Indigenous chief from the Brazilian Amazon, as she rises from a remote village in Xipaya territory to the political frontlines of climate justice. The movie produced by Leonardo DiCaprio has recently been shortlisted in the Documentary Feature category for this year’s Academy Awards.

Nathan Halpern Scoring Netflix’s ‘Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing’
Nathan Halpern (The Rider, Emily the Criminal, Watcher, Swallow, In the Same Breath, Coup!) has provided the original score for the new Netflix original documentary series Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing. H. Scott Salinas (Warrior, A Private War, The Banker, Cartel Land, Elevation) and Chris Ruggiero (Minding the Gap, One Child Nation, Camp Courage) contributed additional music to the show directed by Jenna Rosher (Keep This Between Us) & Kief Davidson (The Ivory Game, A Lego Mockumentary) about the dark realities of social media fame. The 3-parter explores the shadowy world of child influencers, honing in on the disturbing allegations of abuse surrounding popular internet celebrity Piper Rockelle and her momager Tiffany Smith.
‘Elevation’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Elevation. The album features the film’s original music composed by H. Scott Salinas (Warrior, The Banker, A Private War, Cartel Land, The Birth of the Dragon, Full Swing, City of Ghosts, Tiger). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 29 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Elevation is directed by George Nolfi and stars Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin, Danny Boyd Jr. and Maddie Hasson. The movie follows a trio of post-apocalyptic survivors as they venture down below the safety of elevation 8000 ft. in the Rocky Mountains, bent on finding a way to eliminate subterranean beasts that have all but wiped out mankind.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror thriller Heretic written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and starring Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East. The film’s original music is composed by Chris Bacon (Source Code, Wednesday, Bates Motel, Men in Black: International, Gnomeo & Juliet, 65, The Tick) . Also opening nationwide is the family holiday comedy dram The Best Christmas Pageant Ever directed by Dallas Jenkins, narrated by Lauren Graham and and starring Judy Greer, Pete Holmes and Molly Belle Wright. Dan Haseltine & Matthew S. Nelson (The Chosen, The Shift) have composed the film’s original score. No word on a score release. Warner Music Nashville has released Blake Shelton’s cover of Go Tell It On the Mountain from the movie last month. Composer H. Scott Salinas (Warrior, A Private War, Cartel Land, Full Swing, Tiger, City of Ghosts) is reuniting with director George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau) on the upcoming sci-fi thriller Elevation. The film starring Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin, Maddie Hasson & Danny Boyd Jr. is set in the post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains and follows a single father and two women as they venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy. John Glenn (SEAL Team, Eagle Eye), Jacob Roman and Kenny Ryan (SEAL Team) wrote the screenplay.
‘Lucha: A Wrestling Tale’ Soundtrack Released
