Faber Music has released a soundtrack EP for the Irish comedy The Three Urns. The 5-track features the film’s music composed by Academy Award winner Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Billy Elliott, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Quills, Proof, Indian Summers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen two tracks from the composer’s score after the jump. The Three Urns is written and directed by John-Paul Davidson & Warbeck and stars iarán Hinds, Olga Kurylenko, Stephen Dillane, Lisa Dwane, Stephen Fry and Sinéad Cusack. The movie tells the story of a man who – after years living in France – sets out on a pilgrimage to his former home in Ireland after the death of his wife.

Point of Change is directed by Rebecca Coley and tells the true story of the discovery of the perfect surfing point break in Lagundi Bay on Nias Island, Indonesia through the first hand accounts of the locals living at the Point during the 1970s and the first surfers to surf the legendary perfect wave.
‘Park Avenue’ Soundtrack Album Released
MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the drama Park Avenue. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Billy Elliott, Quills, Proof, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Indian Summers). Also included is the original song Black Sun by Isaac Waddington (previously released as a digital single), as well as Mathilda Florence’s cover of The Velvet Underground’s Sweet Jane. Quartet Records will release a CD version. Park Avenue is co-written and directed by Gaby Dellal and stars Fiona Shaw, Katherine Waterston and Chaske Spencer. The movie follows a woman who runs away from her controlling husband and isolating life as a rancher and returns to the apartment of her mother in an affluent building on the titular street.
Stephen Warbeck’s Score from Maïwenns ‘My King’ Released
L’R Du Tresor has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2015 French romantic drama My King (Mon roi) co-written and directed by Maïwenn and starring Vincent Cassel, Emmanuelle Bercot and Louis Garell. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Billy Elliott, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Quills, Proof, Indian Summers) who received a Cesar Award nomination for his work on the project. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror thriller Heretic written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and starring Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East. The film’s original music is composed by Chris Bacon (Source Code, Wednesday, Bates Motel, Men in Black: International, Gnomeo & Juliet, 65, The Tick) . Also opening nationwide is the family holiday comedy dram The Best Christmas Pageant Ever directed by Dallas Jenkins, narrated by Lauren Graham and and starring Judy Greer, Pete Holmes and Molly Belle Wright. Dan Haseltine & Matthew S. Nelson (The Chosen, The Shift) have composed the film’s original score. No word on a score release. Warner Music Nashville has released Blake Shelton’s cover of Go Tell It On the Mountain from the movie last month. Stephen Warbeck to Score Christian De Vita’s ‘Wittgenstein’s Poker’
Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Proof, Billy Elliott, Quills, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin) is attached to score the upcoming animated short Wittgenstein’s Poker. The film will be directed by Christian De Vita and star Richard E. Grant and Brian Cox. The movie based on the book of the same title by David Edmonds &John Eidinow tells the story of the real-life encounter between Ludwig Wittgenstein and Karl Popper, two of the 20th century’s greatest philosophers, and explores their notorious dispute, known as the Cambridge Poker Incident.
