Singer/songwriter Jack Antonoff is credited as the executive music producer on the upcoming romantic drama Love of Your Life. The movie, which features Antonoff’s own song Blood Brothers (performed by the Bleachers), as well as tracks by Fleetwood Mac, Depeche Mode, The Lumineers, Cigarettes After Sex, Ace of Base, Sharon Van Etten, Crowded House, Jessica Pratt, among other artists, is directed by Rachel Morrison and stars Margaret Qualley, Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Basso, Tamara Lawrance, Catherine Keener and Corey Johnson. The film tells the story a young woman who is swept up in an all-consuming love that sets her life on an unexpected path.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror feature Lee Cronin’s The Mummy written and directed by Cronin and starring Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace and Veronica Falcón. The film’s original music is composed by Stephen McKeon (Evil Dead Rise, The Hole in the Ground, Queen & Country, Sharp Corner, Pilgrimage, Rose Plays Julie, The Damned, Norm of the North, My Name Is Emily). ‘Mother Mary’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for David Lowery’s psychological drama Mother Mary have been revealed. The album features the film’s original songs written by Jack Antonoff & Charli XCX and FKA twigs and performed by lead actress Anne Hathaway. Mother Mary: Greatest Hits will be released digitally on April 17 by A24 Music and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two first tracks (Burial & My Mouth Is Lonely for You) have already been released as digital singles over the last few weeks. A separate album featuring Daniel Hart’s original score from the movie will be announced soon. Mother Mary is written and directed by Lowery and also stars Michaela Coel, Hunter Schafer, Kaia Gerber, Atheena Frizzell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Sian Clifford, Alba Baptista and Isaura Barbé-Brown.

The show’s original music is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, Watchmen, John Wick, 300, X, Primal, Killer Joe, The Punisher). Premiering tomorrow, February 12, is the National Geographic documentary The Space Race directed by Diego Hurtado de Mendoza & Lisa Cortés about the experiences of the first Black astronauts. Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Fear Street Part 3: 1666, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Werewolves Within) & Jongnic Bontemps (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, My Name Is Pauli Murray, 4400, Redfall) have composed the film’s original music. ‘The New Look’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Jack Antonoff has announced the track list of the soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series The New Look. The album features covers of popular early to mid-twentieth century songs produced by the Grammy Award-winning musician and performed by artists such as Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Perfume Genius, Sam Dew, Nick Cave, Bleachers & others. A first track will be released next Wednesday, January 31 (check out Florence + The Machine’s cover of White Cliffs of Dover below). The full album will be released on April 3 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The New Look is created by Todd A. Kessler and stars Ben Mendelsohn, Juliette Binoche, Maisie Williams, Emily Mortimer, John Malkovich, Claes Bang and Glenn Close.
Daniel Hart to Reteam with David Lowery on ‘Mother Mary’
Composer Daniel Hart is set to reteam with director David Lowery to score the upcoming drama Mother Mary. The film is being described as “epic pop melodrama” and will also feature original songs written and produced by Jack Antonoff and Charli XCX. The movie stars Anne Hathaway & Michaela Coel and revolves around a fictional musician and her relationship with an iconic fashion designer. Lowery is also producing the A24 production with Toby Halbrooks & James M. Johnston (Never Goin’ Back), Jeanie Igoe (Miss Juneteenth), Jonas Katzenstein (7500), Maximilian Leo (Stowaway, Home) and Jonathan Saubach.
H.E.R.’s ‘Dance to the Music’ Cover from ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ Released
Decca Records has released the cover version of Sly and the Family Stone’s 1967 anthem Dance to the Music from the animated feature Minions: The Rise of Gru. The track produced by Jack Antonoff (who serves as the executive producer of the film’s soundtrack) and performed by Academy Award winner H.E.R. is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon.
