Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the psychological thriller Primetime directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson, Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher and Bokeem Woodbine. The film’s original score is composed by Ari Balouzian (Some Kind of Heaven, You Can See Everything, Monsters of God, Ren Faire, Atropia, Spermworld). A24 Music has releases a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original end credits song by Phoebe Bridgers today. Also opening wide is the survival thriller Heart of the Beast directed by David Ayer and starring Brad Pitt, J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. Jared Michael Fry (The Beekeeper, A Working Man, Safehouse) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. ‘Deep in the Heart 2: Texas Rivers’ Soundtrack Album Details

Neumeark Music will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Deep in the Heart 2: Texas Rivers. The album features the film’s original music composed by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Resident Alien, Reverie, Jinn, The American Southwest, Unbranded, The Gracefield Incident) who previously scored the original 2022 movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main title track (performed by the Dallas Chamber Symphony) below. Deep in the Heart 2: Texas Rivers is directed by Ben Masters, narrated by Ethan Hawke and showcases the abundant diversity of wildlife that calls Texas home while confronting our water challenges.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror sequel The Conjuring: Last Rites directed by Michael Chaves and starring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ben Hardy and Mia Tomlinson. The film’s original music is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Twisters, Alien: Romulus, Blade Runner 2049, The Flash, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation, Mortal Kombat, Shazam!). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Opening semi-wide in around 600 theaters this weekend is the comedy drama Twinless written and directed by James Sweeney and starring Dylan O’Brien, Sweeney himself, Lauren Graham, Chris Perfetti, Aisling Franciosi, and Tasha Smith. Jaeil Jung (Parasite, Squid Game, Mickey 17, Okja, Broker) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced yet. Neumeark Music will release the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2015 documentary Unbranded directed by Phillip Baribeau. The album features the film’s original music composed by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Resident Alien, Jinn, The Gracefield Incident, Reverie). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Unbranded follows four men (Ben Masters, Thomas Glover, Jonny Fitzsimons & Ben Thamer) and sixteen mustangs on a 3,000-mile journey from Mexico to Canada through the American West to inspire adoptions for the 50,000 wild horses and burros in government captivity.

Noah Sorota Scoring Syfy’s ‘Resident Alien’

Noah Sorota is scoring the upcoming Syfy original series Resident Alien. The show is developed by Chris Sheridan (Family Guy) based on the Dark Horse comic of the same title and stars Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund and Levi Fiehler. The comedy follows an alien that crash lands on Earth with a secret mission to kill all humans and passes himself off as a small-town human doctor. Sheridan is also executive producing the Amblin TV and Dark Horse Entertainment production with Mike Richardson (Hellboy, The Umbrella Academy) & Keith Goldberg (The Umbrella Academy) and Justin Falvey & Darryl Frank (The Americans).

Premiering tonight is the AMC original series Dispatches from Elsewhere created by Jason Segel and starring Segel himself, André Benjamin, Sally Field, Octavio Coleman, Richard E. Grant and Eve Lindley. The show’s original music is composed by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, Watchmen, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, Broken City). Premiering tomorrow, March 2 is the FX original series Breeders created by Simon Blackwell ,Chris Addison & Martin Freeman and starring Freeman himself, Daisy Haggard, George Wakeman, Jayda Eyles, Michael McKean, Joanna Bacon and Alun Armstrong. Oli Julian (Sex Education, Catastrophe, Episodes, Plebs) is composing the show’s original music. Apple TV+’s ‘Amazing Stories’ to Feature Music by Harry Gregson-Williams, Ramin Djawadi, Mark Isham & Others

The full composer line-up of the first episodes of Apple TV+’s reboot of the anthology series Amazing Stories has been revealed. Nicholas Pike (Critters 2, Return to Me, Captain Ron) has scored the first episode, The Cellar (premiering on March 6), directed by Chris Long (The Americans) and starring Victoria Pedretti and Dylan O’Brien. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man) & Brandon Campbell (Slender Man, The Thinning) have co-scored the second episode, The Heat (premiering on March 13), directed by Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard, The Losers) and starring E’myri Crutchfield, Hailey Kilgore and Shane Paul McGhie. Episode 3, entitled Dynoman and the Volt (premiering on March 20), directed by Susanna Fogel (The Spy Who Dumped Me) and starring Robert Forster & Tyler Crumley  is scored by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Jinn).

A soundtrack album has been released for the documentary The River and the Wall. The album features the film’s original music composed by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Jinn, The Gracefield Incident, Reverie). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. The River and the Wall is directed by Ben Masters and follows five friends on a 1,200 mile journey along the US-Mexico border from El Paso to the Gulf of Mexico. The documentary premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in select theaters and on VOD this weekend by Gravitas Ventures.
