Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the (HBO) Max original series Duster. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (American Fiction, Captain America: Brave New World, Miss Marvel, The Marvels, Paris Can Wait, Set It Up, What If…?). Also included is the main theme written by series co-creator J.J. Abrams. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 8 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘Gremlins: The Wild Batch’ Soundtrack Album to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the (HBO) Max original animated series Gremlins: The Wild Batch. The album features selections of the original music from the second season of the animated Gremlins series composed by Emmy Award nominee Sherri Chung (Kung Fu, Riverdale, Based on a True Story, Found, Happiness for Beginners, The Last Husband). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 25. WaterTower Music has previously released an album featuring the composer’s music from Season 1 (entitled Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai) back in 2023. Gremlins: The Wild Batch is developed by Tze Chun based on Joe Dante’s Gremlins films and features the voices of Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, AJ LoCascio, Izaac Wang, Gabrielle Nevaeh and George Takei. Season 2 follows Gizmo, Sam & Elle as they travel from their home in Shanghai to San Francisco, bringing even more magic, mystery and Mogwai mayhem.
‘Kite Man: Hell Yeah!’ Soundtrack Albums Released
Michael Gatt (DC Super Hero Girls, Batman: The Long Halloween, Braid, Justice League: Warworld, The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, Blood Drive) has released two soundtrack albums for the (HBO) Max original animated series Kite Man: Hell Yeah! The albums feature the original songs, as well as selections of the original score from the Harley Quinn spin-off’s first season written by the composer. Peter Nashel Scoring HBO’s ‘The Dark Money Game’
Peter Nashel (I, Tonya, Marco Polo, Book Club, Mike, The Night Listener, Bee Season, Alaska Daily) has composed the original score for the new HBO documentary The Dark Money Game. The 2-parter features two films, Ohio Confidential & Wealth of the Wicked, written and directed by Alex Gibney (Taxi to the Dark Side, We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks) who investigates the shadowy world of political donations and fundraising fifteen years after the Supreme Court’s decision in the Citizen’s United case, which enabled unlimited spending by hidden sources on many political campaigns. The movies sare inspired by Jane Mayer’s book Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right and features interviews with journalists including Mayer herself, as well as lawmakers, FBI investigators, judges, whistleblowers, and insiders on both sides of the issue.

Laura Karpman (American Fiction, Captain America: Brave New World, The Marvels, Paris Can Wait, Miss Marvel, What If…?, Set It Up) has been tapped to score the upcoming Max original series Duster. The show is created by J.J. Abrams (Star Trek, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) & LaToya Morgan and stars Josh Holloway, Rachel Hilson, Keith David, Sydney Elisabeth, Camille Guaty, Greg Grunberg, Adriana Aluna Martinez, Asivak Koostachin and Benjamin Charles Watson. The crime thriller is set in the 1970s Southwest and explores the life of a gutsy getaway driver for a growing crime syndicate that goes from dangerous to wildly, stupidly dangerous when a tenacious agent comes into town hellbent on taking his crime family down.
