The album features the film’s original music composed by Nathan Larson (Dirty Pretty Things, Margin Call, Boys Don’t Cry, Tigerland, Our Idiot Brother, Juliet, Naked, Vinyl). Nathan Larson (Dirty Pretty Things, Boys Don’t Cry, Margin Call, Tigerland, Vinyl, Juliet, Naked) is the composer of the upcoming HBO original documentary series The Synanon Fix. The show is directed by Rory Kennedy (Last Days in Vietnam, Downfall: The Case Against Boeing, Ghosts of Abu Ghraib) and explores the rise and fall of the Synanon organization through the eyes of the members who lived it, from its origin as a groundbreaking drug rehabilitation program to its later descent into what many consider a cult.
Nathan Larson to Score Carter Bays’ & Craig Thomas’ ‘Molly and the Moon’
Nathan Larson (Boys Don’t Cry, Dirty Pretty Things, Margin Call, Juliet, Naked) is set to compose the score for the upcoming original movie musical Molly and the Moon. The film is directed by Carter Bays & Craig Thomas (How I Met Your Mother) and is set to star Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff. Harvey Mason Jr (Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Story, All Rise) will serve as executive music producer and Stephanie Diaz-Matos (The Get Down, Uncle Drew) is the project’s music supervisor. Bays and Thomas are also producing the film with Levantine Films’ Jared Ian Goldman (Wilson, Ingrid Goes West) and Renee Witt.

The movie, which is based on a novel by Damon Galgut and centers on a fugitive drifter who – after murdering a traveling preacher – travels to a small town and poses as the man he killed, is being released by Lionsgate.
Also opening on VOD today is the comedy Bad Therapy directed by Bill Teitler and starring Alicia Silverstone, Rob Corddry, Michaela Watkins, Haley Joel Osment, Aisha Tyler, Sarah Shahi and David Paymer. Nathan Larson (Boys Don’t Cry, Dirty Pretty Things, Margin Call, Juliet, Naked) is composing the original score for the new Hulu original series High Fidelity. The show is developed by Sarah Kucserka & Veronica West and stars Zoë Kravitz, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H. Holmes, Jake Lacy and Kingsley Ben-Adir. The comedy is inspired by Nick Hornby’s 1995 book and Stephen Frears’ 2000 feature of the same title and follows a female record store owner in the rapidly gentrified neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn who revisits past relationships through music and pop culture, while trying to get over her one true love.
