The full details of the soundtrack album for the Disney+/Disney Channel original movie Zombies 3 have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film performed by cast members including Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney, Ariel Martin, Pearce Joza, Matt Cornett, Terry Hu, Kyra Tantao & others. Also included is a score medley by the movie’s composers George S. Clinton (Austin Powers, Mortal Kombat, Tooth Fairy, Beverly Hills Ninja, Deck the Halls) and Amit May Cohen (Zombies 2, Hollywood Fringe). Also in the U.S. today is the Canadian TV series SkyMed created by Julie Puckrin and starring Natasha Calis, Ace “Aason” Nadjiwon, Morgan Holmstrom, Praneet Akilla, Thomas Elms, Kheon Clarke, Mercedes Morris and Braeden Clarke. Peter Chapman & Robert Carli (Wynonna Earp, Workin’ Moms) are composing the show’s original music. The drama, which follows the triumphs, heartbreaks and tribulations of budding nurses and pilots flying air ambulances in remote Northern Canada, is premiering today in Canada on CBC and is making its U.S. debut on Paramount+.

Clinton (Austin Powers, Mortal Kombat, Beverly Hills Ninja, Tooth Fairy, Deck the Halls, Wild Things) and Amit May Cohen (Hollywood Fringe) are returning as the score composers of Disney’s upcoming movie musical Zombies 3. The film is directed by Paul Hoen (Let It Shine, Camp Rock 2) and stars Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney, Ariel Martin, Pearce Joza, Carla Jeffery, Kylee Russell, Terry Hu, Trevor Tordjman, Kyra Tantao, Matt Cornett, James Godfrey and Kingston Foster, as well as RuPaul Charles as the voice of “The Mothership.”
Score Album for Disney Channel’s ‘Zombies’ Movies Released
Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Disney Channel original movies Zombies and Zombies 2. The album features the original score from both films composed by George S. Clinton (Austin Powers series, Mortal Kombat, Tooth Fairy, Beverly Hills Ninja, Deck the Halls, Wild Things) and Amit May Cohen. Premiering tonight is the new HBO original series Here and Now created by Alan Ball (Six Feet Under, True Blood) and starring Tim Robbins, Holly Hunter, Jerrika Hinton, Daniel Zovatto, Raymond Lee, Sosie Bacon, Andy Bean, Joe Williamson and Peter Macdissi. Michael Penn (Girls, Masters of Sex, Boogie Nights, Sunshine Cleaning) is composing the show’s original score. George S. Clinton Scoring Disney Channel’s ‘Zombies’
George S. Clinton (Austin Powers series, Mortal Kombat, The Santa Clause 2) is composing the original score for the upcoming Disney Channel original movie Zombies. The film is directed by Jeffrey Hornaday (Teen Beach Movie, Shout) and stars Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Trevor Tordjman, Kylee Russell and Carla Jeffery. The movie musical follows a semester at Seabrook High School in a suburban town whose students must learn to coexist with new transfer students from Zombietown. David Light & Joseph Raso (Seed) and Josh Cagan (The DUFF, Bandslam) wrote the screenplay based on a story by Light & Raso.
Alan Silvestri to Headline Chattanooga International Film Music Festival
Academy Award-nominated composer Alan Silvestri (Forrest Gump, The Avengers) will be the the special guest film music composer for the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera at the 2014 Chattanooga International Film Music Festival, which will take place from February 28 through March 2, 2014. He will join the festival’s artistic director, Emmy Award-nominee George S. Clinton (Austin Powers, Tooth Fairy, Wild Things), for a weekend of seminars with composers such as Clinton and Sundance Film Music Program director Peter Golub. There will also be a panel discussion moderated by BMI’s Doreen Ringer Ross, a screening of Robert Zemeckis’ Back to the Future followed by a discussion with Silvestri, as well as open rehearsals and two film music concerts with the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera.
George S. Clinton to Score ‘Gods Behaving Badly’
George S. Clinton has been hired to score the comedy Gods Behaving Badly. The film marks the directorial debut of Academy Award-nominated producer Marc Turtletaub (Little Miss Sunshine) and follows a young couple who encounter a full panoply of gods living in a New York brownstone. Alicia Silverstone and Ebon Moss-Bachrach are starring in the film alongside Christopher Walken as Zeus, John Turturro as Hades, Sharon Stone as Aphrodite, Oliver Platt as Apollo, Edie Falco as Artemis, Phylicia Rashad as Demeter, Nelsan Ellis as Dionysus, Gideon Glick as Eros, Henry Zebrowski as Hermes and Rosie Perez as Persepho. The comedy is based on a novel by Marie Phillips and has been adapted for the screen by Turtletaub and Josh Goldfaben. Turtletaub is producing the Big Beach Films production with Peter Saraf (Sunshine Cleaning, Away We Go).

Two new movies are opening in wide release this weekend:
Already beating box office records is the fantasy sequel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The film’s music is composed by Alexandre Desplat who scored his second Harry Potter film. A soundtrack album featuring Desplat’ score has been released on Watertower Music (click here for our soundtrack announcement including audio clips). Also opening wide is Walt Disney Pictures’ animated film Winnie the Pooh. Henry Jackman composed the score for the movie. A soundtrack album featuring Jackman’s score, the film’s songs written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and an original song by Zooey Deschanel has been released on Walt Disney Records.
