The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Oliver Coates (Pillion, Aftersun, Mary & George, The History of Sound, Occupied City, 100 Nights of Hero, Significant Other, Foe, The Stranger). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Witness is created by Rob Williams and stars Jordan Bolger, Max Fincham, Neil Maskell, Kerry Godliman, Kevin Eldon, Jahsaiah Williams, Jon Pointing, James Dryden, Mark Stanley and James Bradshaw. The 3-parter directed by Alex Winckler is based on true events and follows a 2-year old boy, the only witness to a brutal murder, and his father who must search for peace, healing and justice in the face of press scrutiny and police failures.

The show is created by Rob Williams (Suspicion, The Victim) and stars Jordan Bolger, Max Fincham, Neil Maskell, Kevin Eldon, Kerry Godliman, Jahsaiah Williams, Jon Pointing, Mark Stanley, James Dryden and James Bradshaw. The 3-part drama directed by Alex Winckler is based on true events and follows the experiences of Alex and André Hanscombe as they deal with the devastating impact of a brutal act of violence following the murder of Rachel Nickell on Wimbledon Common in 1992, when André became a single parent overnight and made his son Alex – the only eyewitness to the attack – the center of his world.

Also included are the songs from the movie written by Sam Amidon, produced by Coates and performed by cast members Paul Mescal, Josh O’Connor & Briana Middleton, as well as Amidon himself. Oliver Coates (Aftersun, Mary & George, The History of Sound, 100 Nights of Hero, Foe, Occupied City, The Stranger, Significant Other).has provided the original score for the upcoming Swiss/British drama Frank & Louis. The film is written and directed by Petra Volpe (Late Shift, The Divine Order) and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, Rob Morgan, Rosalind Eleazar, René Pérez Joglar and Indira Varma. The movie follows a man serving a life sentence who takes a prison job caring for aging inmates with Alzheimer’s and dementia and forms a transformative bond with a fellow inmate, offering him a glimpse of redemption in an unforgiving place.

A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the British romantic comedy drama Pillion.
