Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the gothic romance Dracula written and directed by Luc Besson and starring Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz, Matilda De Angelis, Haymon Maria Buttinger and Zoë Bleu Sidel. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Men in Black, Alice in Wonderland). Because Music & EuropaCorp have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last summer when the movie opened overseas (under the title Dracula: A Love Story). Also opening wide is the romantic comedy drama Solo Mio directed by Charles & Daniel Kinnane and starring Kevin James, Kim Coates, Julee Cerda, Alyson Hannigan, Jonathan Roumie and Julie Ann Emery. Joy Ngiaw (WondLa, Blush, Rescued by Ruby, Glamorous,Barbie Mysteries: The Great Horse Chase) has composed the film’s original music. Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
