Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the gothic romance Dracula written and directed by Luc Besson and starring Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz, Matilda De Angelis, Haymon Maria Buttinger and Zoë Bleu Sidel. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, Spider-Man, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Men in Black, Alice in Wonderland). Because Music & EuropaCorp have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last summer when the movie opened overseas (under the title Dracula: A Love Story). Also opening wide is the romantic comedy drama Solo Mio directed by Charles & Daniel Kinnane and starring Kevin James, Kim Coates, Julee Cerda, Alyson Hannigan, Jonathan Roumie and Julie Ann Emery. Joy Ngiaw (WondLa, Blush, Rescued by Ruby, Glamorous,Barbie Mysteries: The Great Horse Chase) has composed the film’s original music. Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Premiering on Friday, October 25 is the new drama Dracula created by Daniel Knauf (Carnivàle) and starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jessica De Gouw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Katie McGrath, Thomas Kretschmann and Nonso Anozie. Trevor Morris (The Borgias, Immortals, Olympus Has Fallen) is composing the show’s original score. Check out 
Trevor Morris has signed on to score the upcoming NBC drama Dracula. The show is created by Daniel Knauf (Carnivàle) and stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jessica De Gouw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Katie McGrath, Thomas Kretschmann and Nonso Anozie. The series is set in 1890s London and follows Dracula as he arrives in Town posing as an American entrepreneur who maintains that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society, but hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier. Knauf is also executive producing the NBC Universal Television production with Tony Krantz (24, Sports Night), Colin Callender and Gareth Neame (Downton Abbey). Steve Shill (Obsessed) who previously helmed numerous episodes of the Rhys Meyers-starring and Morris-scored The Tudors directed the pilot episode.
