Opening in theaters nationwide today is the horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Djimon Hounsou. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, Scream, Ford v. Ferrari, World War Z, Hellboy). La-La Land Records and Paramount Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this week. Also opening wide (while also premiering on Disney+ with Premier Access for an additional fee) is the live-action comedy Cruella directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Mark Strong. Emily Beecham and Kirby Howell-Baptiste. Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, Succession, The Big Short, If Beale Street Could Talk, Vice) has composed the film’s original score. Walt Disney Records has released two soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score and the songs from the movie last Friday. Premiering on Friday, October 25 is the new drama Dracula created by Daniel Knauf (Carnivàle) and starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jessica De Gouw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Katie McGrath, Thomas Kretschmann and Nonso Anozie.
