Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Unabomber. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, A Quiet Place, Scream, Logan, Hellboy, Ford v. Ferrari, The Hurt Locker, The Wolverine, Snowpiercer ). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 25 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Unabomber is directed by Janus Metz and stars Russell Crowe, Jacob Tremblay, Shailene Woodley, Annabelle Wallis, Alexander Ludwig, Marc Menchaca and Steven Ogg. The drama inspired by true events follows Ted Kaczynski’s transformation from Harvard prodigy into the infamous Unabomber and explores his troubled past that resurfaces decades later when his manhunt brings to light the chilling consequences of ambition and isolation.

‘Scream’ 30th Anniversary Edition Score Album Announced
Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings have announced a new anniversary reissue of the score album for the 1996 slasher classic Scream directed by Wes Craven and starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan & Drew Barrymore. The original 14-track album featuring music by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, Hellboy, Ford v. Ferrarie) will be released on vinyl in a collectible “blood-soaked” sleeve featuring an iconic image of Barrymore as Casey Becker in the film’s opening scene on August 28. In addition to the wide Woodsboro Bloodbath red vinyl (now available for pre-order on Amazon), a variety of limited-edition exclusive pressings, including a Knife’s Edge silver vinyl with poster (Target), I’ll Be Right Backblue vinyl (Urban Outfitters), Surprise Sidney metallic blend vinyl (Barnes & Noble), Final Girl splatter vinyl (Hot Topic), Don’t Hang Up clear vinyl (Books-A-Million), Wrong Answer Blood Red Splatter vinyl (Varèse Sarabande/Craft Recordings), and Final Phone Call blue vinyl at select indie retailers, will also be available. Marcus Trumpp (Fear Street Part 1 & 3, Love and Monsters, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Turbulence, Clown in a Cornfield) has recently scored the upcoming action thriller Mutiny. Marco Beltrami (Scream, A Quiet Place, 3:10 to Yuma, Logan, The Wolverine) serves as the score producer of the film directed by Jean-Francois Richet and starring Jason Statham, Annabelle Wallis, Roland Møller and Adrian Lester. The movie follow a man who – after witnessing his billionaire boss’s murder and being framed for the crime – boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death only to discover an international conspiracy.

Composer Marco Beltrami (Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, Logan, A Quiet Place, Ford v. Ferrari, The Hurt Locker, Hellboy, The Wolverine) is reuniting with director Bong Joon Ho (Parasite, Mickey 17) on the upcoming animated movie Ally. The movie marks the Academy Award-winning filmmaker’s animated feature debut and tells the story of a a curious piglet squid living in the uncharted depths of the South Pacific Ocean dreaming of one day seeing the sun and becoming the star of a wildlife documentary whose peaceful world is suddenly thrown into danger when a mysterious aircraft goes down into the sea, setting her on a journey that will take her all the way to the surface.

Marco Beltrami & Marcus Trumpp to Reteam with Jean-Francois Richet on Netflix Film ‘Quasimodo’
Marco Beltrami (Scream, Logan, 3:10 to Yuma, A Quiet Place, The Hurt Locker, The Wolverine, Ford v. Ferrari, Hellboy) has revealed in a recent interview on Film Music Live that he will be reuniting with director Jean-Francois Richet (Mesrine: Killer Instinct, Assault on Precint 13) on the upcoming French Netflix original film Quasimodo. He is teaming up with Marcus Trumpp (Fear Street Part 1 & 3, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Love and Monsters, Turbulence, Clown in a Cornfield) to co-score the movie starring Vincent Cassel, Karim Leklou, Daphné Patakia, Benjamin Voisin, Sébastien Pouderoux, Noémie Lvovsky, Eli Nachmani & Alexis Rosenstieh. The drama, which is set in Paris on the eve of 1830’s July Revolution and reimagines the life of the man said to have inspired Victor Hugo’s iconic character, Quasimodo, follows the title character who gets caught between political turmoil and an impossible love as the cholera epidemic spreads through the city.
