Premiering tonight is the MGM+ original documentary series Let the Devil In directed by Danielle Franco and executive produced by Eli Roth, Branden Morgen, Anneka Jones, Jill Burkhart, Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver. The show’s original music is composed by Sherri Chung (Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai/The Wild Batch, Kung Fu, Riverdale, Based on a True Story, The Last Husband, Found, Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black, Happiness for Beginners). Premiering tomorrow, September 1, is the Prime Video original series The Runarounds created by Jonas Pate and starring band members William Lipton, Jeremy Yun, Axel Ellis, Zendé Murdock & Jesse Golliher, as well as Lilah Pate, Brooklyn Decker, Maximo Salas, Kelley Pereira, Hayes MacArthur, Marley Aliah, Mark Wystrach and Shea Pritchard. The titular band has also composed the show’s original music. Arista Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the band’s songs tomorrow. Sherri Chung (Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai & The Wild Batch, Kung Fu, Based on a True Story, Riverdale, Found, The Last Husband, Happiness for Beginners) is the composer of the new MGM+ original documentary series Let the Devil In. The show is directed by Danielle Franco (Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders) and centers on a decades-old tragedy that destroyed one family and ignited the darkest fears of a small New Jersey town. The 4-parter features accounts of witnesses, friends, and community members as they try to make sense of the unthinkable events, some believing that Satan took hold of a vulnerable teen boy, while others believe that far more earthly demons were to blame.

‘Gremlins: The Wild Batch’ Soundtrack Album to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the (HBO) Max original animated series Gremlins: The Wild Batch. The album features selections of the original music from the second season of the animated Gremlins series composed by Emmy Award nominee Sherri Chung (Kung Fu, Riverdale, Based on a True Story, Found, Happiness for Beginners, The Last Husband). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 25. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album and also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. WaterTower Music has previously released an album featuring the composer’s music from Season 1 (entitled Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai) back in 2023. Gremlins: The Wild Batch is developed by Tze Chun based on Joe Dante’s Gremlins films and features the voices of Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, AJ LoCascio, Izaac Wang, Gabrielle Nevaeh and George Takei. Season 2 follows Gizmo, Sam & Elle as they travel from their home in Shanghai to San Francisco, bringing even more magic, mystery and Mogwai mayhem.

Premiering on Wednesday, July 10, is the Apple TV+ original series Sunny developed by Katie Robbins based on Colin O’Sullivan’s book The Dark Manual an starring Rashida Jones, Hidetoshi Nishijima, Joanna Sotomura, Judy Ongg, YOU, annie the clumsy and Jun Kunimura. The show’s original music is composed by Daniel Hart (The Green Knight, Pete’s Dragon, The Old Man and the Gun, Interview with the Vampire, A Ghost Story, Peter Pan & Wendy, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints). Check out our previous news article for more information about the mystery comedy drama, which will be available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+.

Also premiering on Wednesday is the HBO original documentary Quad Gods directed by Jess Jacklin, produced by Johnny Fego & Jacklin and executive produced by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady. Gary Gunn (A Thousand and One) has composed the film’s original music. The movie, which follows the lives of three New Yorkers with quadriplegia that meet in a neuro-rehabilitation lab where they create the world’s first fully quadriplegic e-sports team, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will air on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.

The film is written and directed by Tyler Perry and stars Meagan Good, Cory Hardrict, Shannon Wallace, Joseph Lee Anderson, Taylor Polidore, Richard Lawson and Debbi Morgan. The movie follows a young bank professional who is devastated when her husband abandons a marriage and is determined to fight for until fate intervenes, revealing that her wicked deeds that have trashed their marriage.

‘The Long Night’ Soundtrack Album Released

Sherri Chung (Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, Kung Fu, Riverdale, Based on a True Story, Batwoman, Happiness for Beginners, Blindspot) has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Long Night. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on iTunes/Apple Music and most other major digital music platforms. Listen to the composer’s title and end credits tracks after the jump. The Long Night is directed by Rich Ragsdale and stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Nolan Gerard Funk, Jeff Fahey and Deborah Kara Unger. The movie follows a New York transplant who returns to her childhood southern stomping grounds while searching for her parents, but the weekend takes an unexpected turn when a nightmarish cult arrives to fulfill a twisted apocalyptic prophecy.

Premiering in the U.S. today is the French-Canadian limited series The Night Logan Woke Up written and directed by Xavier Nolan and starring Julie Le Breton, Anne Dorval, Jasmine Lemée, Patrick Hivon and Pier-Gabriel Lajoie. The show’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Dune, Gladiator) and David Fleming (The Last of Us, Hillbilly Elegy). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score earlier this year. Also making its U.S. debut today is the Italian/French TV series Django created by Leonardo Fasoli & Maddalena Ravagli and starring Matthias Schoenaerts, Nicholas Pinnock, Lisa Vicari and Noomi Rapace. Mokadelic (Gomorrah, Romulus, The Immortal) have composed the show’s original music. Radiocattleya has released a soundtrack featuring the psychedelic post-rock collective’s score earlier this year when the series premiered overseas on Sky. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the fantasy comedy Barbie co-written and directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Rhea Perlman, Alexandra Shipp, Ariana Greenblatt and Michael Cera. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album (produced by Ronson) featuring the songs from the movie by artists including Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Nicki Minjaj & Ice Spice, Charli XC & others.
