David Arnold (Casino Royale, Independence Day, Stargate, Sherlock, Tomorrow Never Dies, Good Omen, Shaft) is retuning to score the upcoming animated special Mog’s Bad Thing. The film is directed by Robin Shaw (We’re Going on a Bear Hunt) and features the voices of Adjoa Andoh as the Narrator, Benedict Cumberbatch, Claire Foy, Amelie Law, Teddy Skelton, Katherine Parkinson, John Thomson, Mawaan Rizwan and Amelia Theodorou. The Lupus Films production is based Judith Kerr’s children’s book of the same title and follows the titular tabby cat who hides in the attic feeling sorry for herself when her family is hosting a cat show in their garden which should be her chance to shine.

Silva Screen Records has released the new soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series Good Omens has been revealed. The album features the original music from the 90-minute series finale composed by Grammy Award winner David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, Sherlock, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Godzilla, Shaft). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first two tracks below. As previously reported, a CD version will be coming out on May 29 and is available for pre-order here. The label has previously released two soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 and Season 2. Interscope Records has released the official title song for the upcoming video game 007 First Light. The track is written by singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey and composer David Arnold (Independence Day, Stargate, Sherlock, Good Omens, Shaft, 2 Fast 2 Furious) who previously scored five James Bond movies (Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace) and also co-wrote the theme songs for The World Is Not Enough & Casino Royale. Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the Channel 4 animated special Mog’s Christmas. The album features the film’s original score composed by Grammy Award and Emmy Award winner David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies, Sherlock, Hot Fuzz, Godzilla, The World Is Not Enough, Good Omens). Also included is the project’s theme song As Long as I Belong written by Arnold, with lyrics by Don Black and performed by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2007 action comedy Hot Fuzz co-written and directed by Edgar Wright and starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost,Timothy Dalton and Jim Broadbent. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the film composed by David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Sherlock, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies, Good Omens, Godzilla), including previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set is limited to 1,500 copies and will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today and will also be available to order on Amazon.
