The film is directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, GoldenEye, The Mask of Zorro) and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Green, Maria Pedraza, Eoin Macken and Jason Fernandez. The movie follows a criminal mastermind who plans to fake his death for a massive insurance payout while framing his wife’s surfer lover for his murder, only to discover that the wife is planning to kill him for real to claim the fortune herself. ‘Dirty Angels’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Dirty Angels. Composer Rupert Parkes (aka Photek) (How to Get Away with Murder, Station 19, Gang Related, Life in a Year, Mosul) is reteaming with director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro) on the upcoming action thriller Dirty Angels. The film starring Eva Green, Maria Bakalova, Ruby Rose & Jojo T. Gibbs follows an American soldier who joins an all-women commando unit to liberate a group of schoolgirls that have been taken hostage in Afghanistan by posing as members of a relief organization. Alissa Sullivan Haggis and Jonas McCord (Malice, The Body) wrote the screenplay based on a story by McCord & Campbell.
Expanded ‘The Mask of Zorro’ Soundtrack Album Announced
La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1998 adventure drama The Mask of Zorro directed by Martin Campbell and starring Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Stuart Wilson. The album features the expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Apollo 13, Avatar, Aliens, Field of Dreams, A Beautiful Mind), including previously unreleased music. Also included is the original song I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You written by Horner & Will Jennings performed by Marc Anthony & Tina Arena is also included, as well as its Spanish language version performed by Jon Secada & Ana Gabriel. The 2-CD, which is limited to 3,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Sony Classical has previously released the original 1998 soundtrack album.

The movie follows a restaurant owner in London’s Chinatown who is tracking down a group of Irish terrorists responsible for the death of his daughter. David Marconi (Enemy of the State) and Peter Buchman (Che, Jurassic Park III) have written the screenplay based on Stephen Leather’s novel The Chinaman. Wayne Marc Godfrey and Arthur Sarkissian (Rush Hour series) are producing the project.
