Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Dirty Angels. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rupert Parkes (aka Photek) (How to Get Away with Murder, The Protege, Station 19, Memory, Gang Related, Life in a Year, Mosul). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 7 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (A Message) below. Dirty Angels is directed by Martin Campbell and stars Eva Green, Maria Bakalova, Ruby Rose and Jojo T. Gibbs. The movie follows a combat veteran who is tasked with leading an all-woman black ops team on a perilous assignment of infiltration and extraction when a terrorist group invades an international girls’ school in Pakistan.

Composer Rupert Parkes (aka Photek) (How to Get Away with Murder, Station 19, Gang Related, Life in a Year, Mosul) is reteaming with director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro) on the upcoming action thriller Dirty Angels. The film starring Eva Green, Maria Bakalova, Ruby Rose & Jojo T. Gibbs follows an American soldier who joins an all-women commando unit to liberate a group of schoolgirls that have been taken hostage in Afghanistan by posing as members of a relief organization. Alissa Sullivan Haggis and Jonas McCord (Malice, The Body) wrote the screenplay based on a story by McCord & Campbell.

Opening in limited release is the Finnish horror drama Hatching (Pahanhautoja) directed by Hanna Bergholm and starring Siiri Solalinna, Sophia Heikkilä and Jani Volanen. Stein Berge Svendsen (The Crossing, Happy, Happy) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follow a 12-year girl who is desperate to please her mother, a woman obsessed with presenting the image of a perfect family, who finds a strange egg. premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being released in the U.S. by IFC Midnight.

Rupert Parkes (aka Photek) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix original film The Main Event. The movie is directed by Jay Karas (Break Point) and stars Seth Carr, Tichina Arnold, Adam Pally, Ken Marino, as well as WWE superstars Kofi Kingston, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, Sheamus, and Babatunde Aiyegbusi. The family comedy centers on a young WWE fan possessing special powers from a magical mask who causes chaos when he enters a wrestling competition and fights an intimidating rival. Larry Postel and Zach Lewis & Jim Mahoney (Klaus) wrote the screenplay.
