The film is directed by Baldvin Z (Black Sands, Life in a Fishbowl) and stars Adam DiMarco, director Baltasar Kormákur and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson. The movie follows a 28-year-old Canadian-born Icelander who joins a North Atlantic fishing trawler for his first long voyage at sea in order to provide for his girlfriend who is expecting their first child, but life aboard the vessel is far harsher than he anticipated.
