The show showcases how life not only survived but thrived through Earth’s most catastrophic environmental crises and celebrates the incredible resilience of life and the extraordinary journey every creature has endured to still exist today. The 8-parter uses cutting-edge CGI to bring Earth’s epic story to life, from the giant sea scorpions of 450 million years ago to the mighty mammoths and sabertooths of 450,000 years ago.

Disneynature’s ‘Orangutan’ Soundtrack Album Details
Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Disneynature documentary Orangutan. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nitin Sawhney (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, The Namesake, Tiger, Breathe, Traitors, The Colour Room, What’s Love Got to Do With It?, Lila Says, Settlers). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Orangutan is directed by Mark Linfield and co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz is set high in the treetops of Southeast Asia, where a mysterious and magnificent community filled with playful personalities live. The movie narrated by Josh Gad follows an inquisitive adolescent orangutan learning how to navigate life as she prepares to leave her family and venture out on her own for the first time.

Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album for the British musical comedy drama Christmas Karma. The album features the original songs from the film written by Gary Barlow, Nitin Sawhney (who also serves as the project’s music producer and score composer), Shaznay Lewis, Ben Cullum, Panjabi MC & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The film is directed by Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham, Blinded by the Light) and will star Kunal Nayyar, Eva Longoria, Billy Porter, Boy George, Hugh Bonneville, Leo Suter, Pixie Lott, Charithra Chandran, Danny Dyer, Allan Corduner, Bilal Hasna, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Eve, Rufus Jones and Nitin Ganatra. The movie is being described a Bollywood musical retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol set in London.
