Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror thriller Clayface directed by James Watkins and starring Tom Rhys Harries, Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll, Max Minghella and Joshua James. The film’s original music is composed by Volker Bertelmann (Conclave, Verity, All Quiet on the Western Front, Lion, Pressure, The Amateur, The Day of the Jackal, The Uprising, Dune: Prophecy, Adrift, A House of Dynamite). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Also opening nationwide is the animated feature Wildwood directed by Travis Knight and starring Carey Mulligan, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Jacob Tremblay, Awkwafina, Mahershala Ali, Amandla Stenberg, Angela Bassett, Jake Johnson, Charlie Day, Jemaine Clement, Tom Waits, Tantoo Cardinal, Maya Erskine and Richard E. Grant. Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Kubo and the Two Strings, Pride and Prejudice, Darkest Hour,V for Vendetta, Anna Karenina, The Boxtrolls, Paddington in Peru, Bumblebee) has composed the film’s original score. Decca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as The Decemberists’ original song The Better Part of Bravery (also available as a digital single) today. Jung Jaeil (Squid Game, Parasite, Twinless, Okja, Mickey 17, Broker, Ponies, Tempest) has composed the original score for the upcoming South Korean drama Possible Love. The film is directed by Lee Chang-dong (Burning, Poetry) and stars Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung and Cho Yeo-jeong. The movie revolves around a laid-off worker and his wife who cross paths with a documentary filmmaker and her spouse and confront their hidden desires.

‘Ponies’ Soundtrack Album Details

Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Peacock original series Ponies. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award nominee Jung Jaeil (Squid Game, Parasite, Okja, Twinless, Mickey 17, Broker, Tempest) who has made his American television scoring debut on the project. Also included are several tracks by Christopher Willis (The Death of Stalin, Veep, The Personal History of David Copperfield) who has also contributed music to the series. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 15 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the title track below. Ponies is created by David Iserson & Susanna Fogel and stars Emilia Clarke, Haley Lu Richardson, Nicholas Podany, Adrian Lester, Vic Michaelis, Artjom Gilz and Petro Ninovskyi. The espionage thriller follows a Russian-speaking child of Soviet immigrants and a small-town girl who work anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy as they team up to uncover a vast Cold War conspiracy and solve the mystery behind their husbands’ murders.

Premiering today is the second season of the British TV series The Night Manager created by David Farr based on the characters created by John le Carré and starring Tom Hiddleston, Diego Calva, Camila Morrone, Olivia Colman, Alistair Petrie, Michael Nardone, Douglas Hodge, Hayley Squires, Indira Varma, Paul Chahid and Noah Jupe. The new season’s original music is composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, A Gentleman in Moscow, A Thousand Blows, The English, The Penguin Lessons, Watership Down, The Eternaut, The Head, Misconduct). Also premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British TV series Bookish created by Mark Gatiss and starring Gatiss himself, Polly Walker, Connor Finch, Elliot Levey, Blake Harrison and Buket Kömür. Sarah Warne (Des, Time, The Long Shadow, Humans, Dark Money, Hollington Drive, Steeltown Murders, The Drowning) has composed the show’s original music. The label has previously released two album featuring Jung’s & Dalpalan’s score from the first two parts earlier this month. The full details of the soundtrack album for the third season of the South Korean Netflix original series Squid Game have been revealed. The album features selections of the original score from Season 3 composed by Jaeil Jung (Parasite, Mickey 17, Broker, Okja, Twinless). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 27 by Netflix Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. The label has previously released an album featuring the music from Season 2 last December, while Genie Music Corporation has released an album featuring Jung’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. As reported earlier this week, Music on Vinyl will release the premiere vinyl edition soundtrack featuring music from all three seasons. Squid Game is created by Hwang Dong-hyuk and stars Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Yang Dong-geun, Park Sung-hoon and Kang Ae-sim.

‘Squid Game’ Vinyl Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

Music on Vinyl will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Squid Game. The premiere vinyl soundtrack release for the show features selection of the original score from all three seasons composed by Jaeil Jung (Parasite, Mickey 17, Okja, Twinless, Broker). The double vinyl, which is being released housed in a limited edition POP-UP sleeve and includes a 4-page booklet with liner notes by the composer will be released this Friday, June 27 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Netflix Music & Genie Music Corp. have previously released two soundtrack albums featuring the music from Season 1 & 2 and will release a third album featuring the music from Season 3 this coming Friday. Squid Game is created by Hwang Dong-hyuk and stars Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-jun, Lee Byung-hun, Gong Yoo, Yim Si-wan, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Kang Ha-neul andYang Dong-geun.
