Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the live-action/animated hybrid comedy Coyote vs. Acme directed by Dave Green and starring Will Forte, Lana Condor, John Cena, Tone Bell, Luis Guzmán, P.J. Byrne, Eric Bauza, Martha Kelly, Kenneth Choi, Candi Milo and Jim Cummings. The film’s original music is composed by Steven Price (Gravity, Fury, Our Planet, Last Night in Soho, The Aeronauts, The Running Man, Suicide Squad, Baby Driver, Over the Moon, My Policeman, Heads of State, Heart of Stone). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday and iam8bit will release a vinyl edition. Also opening wide is the post-apocalyptic thriller The Dog Stars directed by Ridley Scott and starring Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Benedict Wong, Guy Pearce, Ewen Bremner, Sam Spruell and Allison Janney. Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, The Martian, Shrek, Man on Fire, Mulan, Gladiator II, The Meg, Kingdom of Heaven, Chicken Run) has composed the film’s original music. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Michael Yezerski Scoring Mark Vanselow’s ‘The Mongoose’

Michael Yezerski (Dangerous Animals, The Tax Collector, The Devil’s Candy, Blindspotting, Feel the Beat, The Vigil, Corporate Animals) has been tapped to score the upcoming action thriller The Mongoose. The film marks the feature directorial debut of stunt coordinator/stuntman/action designer Mark Vanselow and stars Liam Neeson, Marisa Tomei, Ving Rhames, Michael Chiklis, Marcus Thomas and Maurice Marvel Meredith. The movie tells the story of a war hero who is accused of a crime he didn’t commit and leads law enforcement on a cross-country car chase with the help of his brothers in arms and a sympathetic public rooting for his getaway.

‘Ice Road: Vengeance’ Soundtrack to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Ice Road: Vengeance. The album features the film’s original music composed by Michael Yezerski (Dangerous Animals. The Tax Collector, Blindspotting, The Devil’s Candy, Feel the Beat, The Vigil, Corporate Animals). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. Ice Road: Vengeance is is written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh and stars Liam Neeson, Fan Bingbing, Geoff Morrell, Grace O’Sullivan and Bernard Curry. The sequel to Hensleigh’s 2021 feature follows ice road driver Mike McCann on the road to Mt. Everest as he takes on ruthless mercenaries to protect a busload of tourists and save a village on the brink of destruction.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sports drama F1 directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, Kim Bodnia and Tobias Menzies. The film’s original score composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune, Gladiator, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel). Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by artists including Don Toliver feat. Doja Cat, Tate McRae, Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, Tiësto, Dom Dolla, as well as a separate soundtrack featuring both the songs and Zimmer’s score today. Michael Yezerski (The Tax Collector, The Devil’s Candy, Blindspotting, Feel the Beat, The Vigil, Corporate Animals) has recently scored the upcoming action thriller Ice Road: Vengeance. The film is written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh (The Punisher) and stars Liam Neeson, Fan Bingbing, Bernard Curry, Geoff Morrell and Grace O’Sullivan. The sequel to Hensleigh’s 2021 feature (scored by Max Aruj) follows ice road driver Mike McCann as he travels to Nepal to scatter his late brother’s ashes on Mt. Everest, when he encounters a group of Nepalese mercenaries and – together with his mountain guide – must fight not only to save themselves, but also the other bus travelers and the local villagers’ homeland.

Range Music will release a soundtrack album for the survival horror thriller Dangerous Animals. The album features the film’s original music composed by Michael Yezerski (The Devil’s Candy, The Tax Collector, Blindspotting, The Vigil, Feel the Beat, Corporate Animals). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 6 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Composer Michael Yezerski (The Tax Collector, The Vigil, Blindspotting, Feel the Beat, Corporate Animals)  is reteaming with director Sean Byrne (The Loved Ones) on the upcoming Australian horror thriller Dangerous Animals. The film starring Jai Courtney, Hassie Harrison & Josh Heuston follows a rebellious surfer who is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer and – trapped on his boat – must escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks below. Nick Lepard wrote the screenplay.

‘Blindspotting’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released

Lionsgate Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Starz original series Blindspotting. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Ambrose Akinmusire and Michael Yezerski (The Tax Collector, The Vigil, The Devil’s Candy, Feel the Beat), with spoken word elements by cast members Jasmine Cephas-Jones, Benjamin Earl Turner, Helen Hunt and Rafael Casal. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released a first soundtrack featuring the score from Season 1 back in 2021. Blindspotting is created by Casal & Daveed Diggs based on the 2018 feature of the same name and also stars Candace Nicholas-Lippman, Jaylen Barron and Atticus Woodward.

Premiering on Tuesday, October 25, is the Netflix anthology series Cabinet of Curiosities created by Guillermo del Toro. Tim Davies (Maya and the Three), Jeff Danna (Onward), Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3), Daniele Luppi (Magic City), Michael Yezerski (Blindspotting), Anne Chmelewsky (Where Hands Touch), Daniel Lopatin (Good Time) and Jed Kurzel (Alien: Covenant) have composed the score for the eight episodes and Holly Amber Church (Open 24 Hours) has written the main title and prologue music. Also premiering on Tuesday is the fantasy adventure Blade of the 47 Ronin directed by Ron Yuan and starring Anna Akana, Mark Dacascos, Dustin Nguyen, Akira Koieyama, Chris Pang and Mike Moh. The film’s original score is composed by Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn and Alec Puro (Black Summer, The Art of Getting By, All Nighter). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the score and songs (by BlvckNeon, Maddie The Baddie, Simon Morel, Ian Valentine & others) this past Friday.
