Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for the post-apocalyptic thriller The Dog Stars. The album features the film’s original music composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, Man on Fire, Kingdom of Heaven, Mulan, Gladiator II, The Meg, Chicken Run). The Dog Stars is directed by Ridley Scott and stars Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Benedict Wong, Allison Janney, Ewen Bremner and Sam Spruell. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Peter Heller and follows a civilian pilot and ex-Marine as they navigate the aftermath of a pandemic that has wiped out nearly the entire population. The thriller will be released in theaters nationwide this coming weekend by 20th Century Studios.
