Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1999 British crime comedy You’re Dead directed by Andy Hurst and starring John Hurt, Rhys Ifans, Claire Skinner and David Schneider. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Robert Folk (Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Police Academy, There Be Dragons, The NeverEnding Story 2, Toy Soldiers, Nothing to Lose, Just Play Dead, Maximum Risk). The soundtrack is being released as a limited edition CD and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the live-action/animated hybrid comedy Coyote vs. Acme directed by Dave Green and starring Will Forte, Lana Condor, John Cena, Tone Bell, Luis Guzmán, P.J. Byrne, Eric Bauza, Martha Kelly, Kenneth Choi, Candi Milo and Jim Cummings. The film’s original music is composed by Steven Price (Gravity, Fury, Our Planet, Last Night in Soho, The Aeronauts, The Running Man, Suicide Squad, Baby Driver, Over the Moon, My Policeman, Heads of State, Heart of Stone). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday and iam8bit will release a vinyl edition. Robert Folk Scoring Martin Campbell’s ‘Just Play Dead’
Robert Folk (There Be Dragons, The NeverEnding Story 2, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Toy Soldiers, Nothing to Lose, Maximum Risk) has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller Just Play Dead. The film is directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, GoldenEye, The Mask of Zorro) and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Green, Maria Pedraza, Eoin Macken and Jason Fernandez. The movie follows a criminal mastermind who plans to fake his death for a massive insurance payout while framing his wife’s surfer lover for his murder, only to discover that the wife is planning to kill him for real to claim the fortune herself. Dan Gordon (The Hurricane, Wyatt Earp) wrote the screenplay.
‘Miles from Home’ World Premiere Soundtrack Release Announced

New ‘Rock-a-Doodle’ Soundtrack Album Announced
MovieScore Media has released a new soundtrack album for the 1991 animated feature Rock-a-Doodle directed by Don Bluth and starring Glen Campbell, Eddie Deezen, Ellen Greene, Sandy Duncan, Phil Harris, Charles Nelson Reilly, Toby Scott Ganger and Christopher Plummer. The album features the premiere release of the full original score from the film composed and conducted by Robert Folk (Police Academy, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter, Nothing to Lose, In the Army Now). Also included are the movie’s original songs written by T.J. Kuenster. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Expanded ‘Masada’ & ‘Toy Soldiers’ Soundtrack Albums Announced
Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1981 ABC miniseres Masada directed by Boris Sagal and starring Peter O’Toole, Peter Strauss, Barbara Carrera, Anthony Quayle, David Warner and Paul L. Smith . The 4-CD set features the show’s complete original music composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Chinatown, Patton, Papillon, Basic Instinct, Total Recall, L.A. Confidential) who scored the first two episodes and Morton Stevens (Hawaii Five-O, Hardly Working, One Man Jury) who scored the third and fourth episodes. Also included are previously unreleased alternate music cues, as well as remastered version of the original 1981 soundtrack album. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere official soundtrack release for the 1990 horror comedy Tremors directed by Ron Underwood and starring Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward, Finn Carter, Michael Gross and Reba McEntire. The album, which is being released as part of the label’s Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features the original score from the film composed by Ernest Troost (Dead Heat, One Man’s Hero), as well as additional music composed by Robert Folk (Police Academy, Toy Soldiers, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls). The soundtrack is being released on colored vinyl and will also include a digital download code. Bailey. The album features the complete score from the film composed by Robert Folk (Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls, Tremors, Nothing to Lose). Also included as a bonus track is El Bimbo performed by Jean-Marc Dompierre and His Orchestra and used in the movie for the film’s Blue Oyster Bar. The soundtrack for the Warner Bros. Pictures production is limited to 3000 copies and will be available to order on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 on La-La Land Records’ official website.
