Lakeshore Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Peacock original series Killing It. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Jonathan Sanford (National Champions, As We See It, Teenage Bounty Hunters, Dear Edward, Perfect Addiction). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 18 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Killing It is created by Dan Goor & Luke Del Tredici and stars Craig Robinson, Claudia O’Doherty, Rell Battle, Scott MacArthur, Stephanie Nogueras, Jet Miller and Wyatt Walter.

Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music on June 2. Opening in New York and Los Angeles today before expanding to more markets in the coming weeks is the comedy thriller Sanctuary directed by Zachary Wigon and starring Christopher Abbott and Margaret Qualley. Ariel Marx (A Small Light, Candy, Shiva Baby, The Tale, Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer) has composed the film’s original music. The movie revolves around a tormented young filmmaker as he is contemplating suicide while writing the end to his latest script, a retelling of his past with his lost love.

The drama, which takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race, will air every Wednesday on Syfy and will also be available to stream on Peacock.

The show is developed by Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) based on Ann Napolitano’s bestselling novel of the same title and stars Colin O’Brien, Connie Britton, Taylor Schilling, Amy Forsyth, Audrey Corsa, Anna Uzele, Brittany S. Hall, Dario Ladani Sanchez, Carter Hudson and Maxwell Jenkins. The drama tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who survives a devastating commercial plane crash that kills every other passenger on the flight, including his family.
