Nathan Larson (Boys Don’t Cry, Dirty Pretty Things, Margin Call, Juliet, Naked) is set to compose the score for the upcoming original movie musical Molly and the Moon. The film is directed by Carter Bays & Craig Thomas (How I Met Your Mother) and is set to star Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff. Harvey Mason Jr (Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Story, All Rise) will serve as executive music producer and Stephanie Diaz-Matos (The Get Down, Uncle Drew) is the project’s music supervisor. Bays and Thomas are also producing the film with Levantine Films’ Jared Ian Goldman (Wilson, Ingrid Goes West) and Renee Witt. Larson has previously scored the Goldman-produced features Alex Strangelove and The Skeleton Twins. No production start date has been announced yet for Molly and the Moon. (Deadline)
