Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated sequel The Bad Guys 2 directed by Pierre Perifel and starring Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Maria Bakalova, Natasha Lyonne, Craig Robinson, Danielle Brooks, Alex Borstein, Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz and Lilly Singh. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: Legend of the Sword). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two songs performed by Rag’n’Bone Man feat. WizTheMc and Busta Rhymes today. Also opening wide is the action comedy The Naked Gun directed by Akiva Schaffer and starring Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Paul Walter Hauser, Liza Koshy, CCH Pounder, Cody Rhodes and Eddie Yu. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Adam, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Top Gun: Maverick) has composed the film’s original music. ‘Together’ Soundtrack Album Details

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the body horror feature Together. The album features the film’s original music composed by Cornel Wilczek (Talk to Me, Bring Her Back, Apple Cider Vinegar, Nowhere Boys, Clickbait, These Final Hours, Cut Snake, Glitch, The Mule). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (The Missing Hikers) below. Together is written and directed by Michael Shanks and stars Alison Brie, Dave Franco and Damon Herriman. The movie follows a couple whose relationship gets tested when they move to the countryside, where they encounter a mysterious, unnatural force that threatens to corrupt their lives, their love and their flesh.

Premiering tomorrow, June 23, is the documentary Barbara Walters: Tell Me Everything directed by Jackie Jesko, produced by Marcella Steingart, Sara Bernstein & Meredith Kaulfers and executive produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Justin Wilkes and Betsy West. The film’s original music is composed by Sami Jano (We Feed People, Dads, Pets, Harlem Ice, David Blaine Do Not Attempt). The ABC News Studios & Imagine Documentaries production, which examines the broadcast legend’s pivotal role in the history of journalism and her pioneering example for women in the industry, premiered earlier this month at the Tribeca Film Festival and will be available to stream on Hulu.

Premiering on Tuesday, June 24, is the Disney+ original series Ironheart developed by Chinaka Hodge and stars Dominique Thorne, Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Anji White, Matthew Elam and Regan Aliyah. Dara Taylor (Strays, The Invitation, The Tender Bar, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, Straw, Echo Boomers, Meet Me Next Christmas) has composed the show’s original music. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s title theme this past Friday. ‘Bring Her Back’ Soundtrack to Be Released

A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller Bring Her Back. The album features the film’s original score composed by Cornel Wilczek (Talk to Me, Apple Cider Vinegar, Together, Clickbait, Glitch, These Final Hours, Nowhere Boys, Cut Snake). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 20 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Bring Her Back is directed by Danny Philippou (who also co-wrote the screenplay with Bill Hinzman) & Michael Philippou and stars Sally Hawkins, Billy Barratt, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips and Sally-Anne Upton. The movie follows a brother and sister who uncover a terrifying ritual at their new foster mother’s secluded home.

Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Cornel Wilczek (Talk to Me, Apple Cider Vinegar, Bring Her Back, Clickbait, These Final Hours, Glitch, Nowhere Boys) & Thomas Rouch (Riptide, Fires, Avarice, With Intent) have teamed up to score the new HBO original documentary Surviving Ohio State. The film is directed by Eva Orner and tells the story of the male victims of Dr. Richard Strauss, a sports medicine physician and serial sex abuser employed by The Ohio State University from 1978 to 1998. The movie examines the culture that allowed the abuse to continue unchecked for nearly two decades, as well as the survivors’ present-day fight to hold the school accountable.
