Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the National Geographic original documentary series Underdogs. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, The Gilded Age, Gladiator 2, Mulan, Chicken Run, The Meg). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first and final track after the jump. The series’ theme song, Underdog by Green Day, is available separately on the band’s latest record, Saviors (édition de luxe). Underdogs is narrated by Ryan Reynolds and centers on animal kingdom’s outcasts, with each episode showcasing a different aspect of these underdogs’ bizarre mating strategies, deception, dubious parenting skills, surprising superpowers and gross-out behaviors. The 5-parter produced by Wildstar will premiere this Sunday, June 15 on National Geographic and ABC and will be available to stream the following day on Hulu and Disney+.
