Premiering tonight is the National Geographic original documentary series Underdogs narrated by Ryan Reynolds and executive produced by Mark Linfield, Vanessa Berlowitz and Dan Ree. The show’s original music is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, The Chronicles of NarniaThe Martian, Gladiator 2MulanChicken Run, The Gilded Age, Kingdom of Heaven, Spy Game, The Meg). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British TV series Patience created by Matt Baker based on the French TV format Astrid et Raphaëlle and starring Laura Fraser and Ella Maisy Purvis. Hannes De Maeyer (Gangsta, The Couple Next Door, Rebel, NoiseProfessor T, Rafaël, TorpedoThe Racer) & Ruben De Gheselle (Young HeartsClara Sola, A Cops and Robbers Story) have composed the show’s original music. Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past March. Premiering tomorrow, June 16, is the documentary Sally directed by Cristina Costantini about Sally Ride who became the first American woman to blast off into space, her hidden romance with her life partner, Tam O’Shaughnessy and the sacrifices that accompanied their 27 years together. The film’s original music is composed by Jeff Morrow (Snow White, A Christmas Story Christmas, The Snoopy Show, Science Fair, Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado, Olaf’s Frozen AdventureIbiza). The movie, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, will air on National Geographic and will also be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ the following day.

Premiering on Tuesday, June 17, is Shudder limited series Hell Motel created by Aaron Martin & Ian Carpenter and starring Eric McCormack, Paula Brancati, Shaun Benson, Atticus Mitchell, Emmanuel Kabongo, Genevieve DeGraves, Brynn Godenir and Michelle Nolden). Spencer Creaghan (SurrealEstate, Black Water, Nobody Famous, Motherly, Last ExMas) has composed the show’s original music. The 8-parter, which follows ten true crime obsessives who are invited to the opening weekend of the newly renovated Cold River Motel, the site of a 30-year-old unsolved Satanic Mass Murder, where they get stranded and start getting knocked off one by one during a murder spree, will be available to stream on Shudder and AMC+.

Also premiering on Tuesday is the HBO original documentary Surviving Ohio State directed by Eva Orner about the male victims of sports medicine physician and serial sex abuser Dr. Richard Strauss who was employed by The Ohio State University from late 1970s to the late 90s. The film’s original music is composed by Cornel Wilczek (Talk to Me, Bring Her Back, Apple Cider Vinegar, Together, These Final Hours, ClickbaitGlitchNowhere Boys) & Thomas Rouch (Riptide, With Intent, FiresAvarice). Premiering on Wednesday, June 18, is the Prime Video original series We Were Liars developed by Julie Plec  & Carina Adly MacKenzie  based on E. Lockhart’s bestselling novel and starring Emily Alyn Lind, Esther McGregor, Shubham Maheshwari, Caitlin FitzGerald, Joseph Zada, Rahul Kohli, Mamie Gummer, David Morse and Candice King. Michael Suby (The Butterfly Effect, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Roswell, New Mexico, God Friended MeGhosts of War) has composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Thursday, June 19, is the Netflix original series The Waterfront created by Kevin Williamson and starring Holt McCallany, Melissa Benoist, Jake Weary, Humberly González, Maria Bello, Danielle Campbell, Rafael L. Silva and Brady Hepner. The show’s original music is composed by John Frizzell (Alien: ResurrectionOffice Space,  Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, Dante’s Peak, The Following, Gods and Generals, Thirteen Ghosts, Legion).
