Composer John Frizzell (Alien: Resurrection, Office Space, Dante’s Peak, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, Gods and Generals, Legion, Thirteen Ghosts) is reuniting with writer/director/producer Kevin Williamson (Scream, Dawson’s Creek) on the upcoming Netflix original series The Waterfront. The show is created by Williamson and stars Holt McCallany, Melissa Benoist, Jake Weary, Maria Bello, Humberly González, Rafael L. Silva, Danielle Campbell and Brady Hepner. The drama follows a prominent North Carolina fishing family as their attempts to retain control of their crumbling fishing empire drive them to increasingly dangerous means to keep themselves afloat. Williamson is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Ben Fast (Sick, The Exorcism) for Outerbanks Entertainment. Marcos Siega (You, Dexter: New Blood) directed the first two episodes and also serves as executive producer on the pilot. Frizzell has previously scored Williamson’s feature directorial debut, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, as well as his TV shows The Following, Stalker and Tell Me a Story. The Waterfront will premiere on June 19 exclusively on Netflix.
