Michael Suby (The Butterfly Effect, Pretty Little Liars, God Friended Me, Ghosts of War) has composed the original music for the new Prime Video original series We Were Liars. The show is developed by Julie Plec (The Girls on the Bus, The Tomorrow People) & Carina Adly MacKenzie  based on the bestselling novel by E. Lockhart and stars Emily Alyn Lind, Shubham Maheshwari, Esther McGregor, Caitlin FitzGerald, Joseph Zada, Mamie Gummer, Rahul Kohli, Candice King and David Morse. The mystery thriller follows a 17-year-old girl one year after a mysterious accident left her with amnesia as she returns to Beechwood, an island off Martha’s Vineyard, seeking answers. Plec, MacKenzie & Lockhart are also executive producing the Universal Television production with Emily Cummins (The Endgame, Vampire Academy). Suby has previously collaborated wiht Plec (and MacKenzie) on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries, its spinoffs The Originals & Legacies, as well as Containment and Roswell, New Mexico. We Were Liars will premiere next Wednesday, June 18 on Prime Video.
