Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series Industry. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Nathan Micay (Reality, The Copenhagen Test, Sexy Beast, Time Bomb Y2K, The Last Bus). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 20 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two first tracks (There is No Tender 2.0 & The Thing is Nothing) are already out to stream/download now and can also be checked out after the jump. Premiering tonight is the new Showtime original series Moonbase 8 created by Fred Armisen, Jonathan Krisel, Tim Heidecker & John C. Reilly and starring Armisen, Heidecker and Reilly themselves. The show’s original music is composed by Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips who made his scoring debut on the comedy. The A24 production centers on three astronauts stationed at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator in a remote part of the Arizona desert as they encounter many obstacles including loneliness, self-doubt and their own incompetence. The show is created by Mickey Down & Konrad Kay and stars Myha’la Herrold, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Nabhaan Rizwan, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill and Ken Leung. The drama revolves around an ambitious group of graduates as they compete for a limited number of permanent positions at Pierpoint & Co., a leading bank in London, while being thrown head-first into the exhilarating world of international finance. Down & Kay are also executive producing the project with Jane Tranter (Succession, The Night Of), Lachlan MacKinnon (A Discovery of Witches), Ryan Rasmussen (His Dark Materials) and David P. Davis.
