Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and guitarist Keb’ Mo’ has recorded the main title song for the new CBS comedy B Positive created by Marco Pennette (Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty), executive produced by Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, The Kominsky Method) and stars Thomas Middleditch, Annaleigh Ashford, Kether Donohue, Sara Rue, Izzy G and Terrence Terrell. He also co-wrote the track with Lorre. The show’s original score is composed by Dennis C. Brown & Grant Geissman who previously collaborated with Lorre on such shows as Two and a Half Men, Dharma & Greg and Mike & Molly. The series revolves around a therapist and newly divorced dad who is faced with finding a kidney donor when he runs into a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers her own. Pennette is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production. B Positive is premiering tonight and will air Thursday nights on CBS and will also be available to stream on CBS All Access. Visit the official show website for updates.

  2. Donald Cross says:

Love the song! Graphics are a bit scary !

    • Nancy says:

I googled this for the creator of the graffics to go with the opening.

  3. Marie says:

I used to manage a consortium of Blood Banks for the hospitals of four highly populated counties … Love Love Love your theme song

  4. tiffany says:

If this was written by a black man why is it being sung by a white drawing with a white mouth?

    • Bob Bobson says:

Why does that matter? Who cares what color the writer is? Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis, Jimmy Hendrix all sang songs written by white guys.

    • Keb fan says:

Seriously? The song is being “sung” by animated internal organs, for crying out loud! Please, please, please get over yourself and don’t make something about race that isn’t about race. Kudos to Keb’ Mo’!

  5. Dennis says:

I am trying to find the written lyrics to the Theme song of B Positive TV show. Can you help?

  6. David says:

I listened to it and wrote down what I remember to get things started…

The more you give, the more you live.
    Your happiness……………………………
    ………………………………………………
    When your feeling like crap,
It’s time to take a nap (not sure of that line)
    It’s your prerogative, B Positive!

  7. David says:

    Getting closer:

The more you give (the more you give), the more you live (the more you live)
    Your happiness (happiness) is zen.
But if you’re feeling like crap,
It’s time to take effect. (Again not sure about this line)
It’s your prerogative (it’s your prerogative) Be Positive!

    • Scott says:

The more you give (the more you give), the more you live (the more you live)
      Your happiness (happiness) is relative.
But if you’re feeling like crap,
It’s time to face the fact
It’s your prerogative (it’s your prerogative)
      To be positive!
