Screamworks Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Feral. The album features the film’s original music composed by Elia Cmiral (Ronin, Battlefield Earth, Wrong Turn, Nash Bridges, Stigmata). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 1 and will be available to download on Amazon. A CD version is also in the works and will be released by Quartet Records. Feral is co-written and directed by Mark H. Young and stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Lew Temple, Olivia Luccardi, Renee Olstead, Brock Kelly, Landry Allbright and George Finn. The movie follows six grad students who get attacked by a wild animal on a weekend hike in the woods and become infected with an unknown virus that turns them into bloodthirsty creatures.

The film’s original score is composed by John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity) and John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark) contributed the Han Solo theme. Opening in limited release is the sci-fi comedy How to Talk to Girls at Parties directed by John Cameron Mitchell and stars Elle Fanning, Alex Sharp, Nicole Kidman and Ruth Wilson. Nico Muhly (The Reader, Margaret), Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu and Matmos have written original music for the film. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the original music, as well as tracks by The Damned, The Dyschords, The Velvet Underground, A.C. Newman & others. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the fantasy adventure The Dark Tower directed by Nikolaj Arcel and staring Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Taylor, Claudia Kim, Fran Kranz, Abbey Lee and Jackie Earle Haley. The film’s original music is composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Black Mass). Also opening wide is the action thriller Kidnap directed by Luis Prieto and starring Halle Berry. Elia Cmiral Scoring John Stockwell’s ‘Temple’
Elia Cmiral is composing the music for the upcoming thriller Temple. The film is directed by John Stockwell (Blue Crush, Into the Blue, Crazy/Beautiful) and stars Wesley Snipes, Anne Heche, Dave Annable and WWE star Seth Rollin. The movie follows a team of trained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its artificial intelligence is suddenly shut down and begin to experience strange and horrific phenomena. Matt Savelloni has written the screenplay. KISS co-founder Gene Simmons is producing the project with WWE Studios president Michael Luisi (The Call, Term Life).

A soundtrack album has been released for the drama Atlas Shrugged: Who Is John Galt?. The album features the film’s original music composed by Elia Cmiral (Ronin, Stigmata, Wrong Turn) who previously scored the first part in the Atlas Shrugged movie trilogy. The soundtrack is now available to order directly from Atlas Productions and will be released digitally on Amazon and iTunes later this month. Atlas Shrugged: Who Is John Galt? based on the novel by Ayn Rand is directed by James Namera and starsLaura Regan and Rob Morrow as protagonists Dagny Taggart and Hank Rearden.The third and final Atlas Shrugged movie is now playing in theaters.

‘Wicked Blood’ Soundtrack Announced
Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the action thriller Wicked Blood. The album features the film’s original music composed by Elia Cmiral (Ronin, Battlefield Earth, Wrong Turn, Atlas Shrugged). The limited edition soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio clips. Wicked Blood is written and directed by Mark Young and stars Abigail Breslin, Alexa PenaVega, Sean Bean, Lew Temple, Jake Busey and James Purefoy. The movie follows follows a girl trapped in a drug underworld who hatches a game of revenge against those who’ve wronged her. The thriller is now available on Blu-ray and DVD from Entertainment One.
Elia Cmiral Scoring ‘Any Day’ and ‘Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt?’
Elia Cmiral has recently composed the score for the upcoming indie drama Any Day. The film is written and directed by Rustam Branaman and stars Sean Bean, Eva Longoria, Kate Walsh and Tom Arnold. The movie follows an ex-fighter who is transformed by the love and forgiveness he experiences through his 11-year-old nephew. Jeanette Zhou is producing the project for Jaguar Entertainment, alongside Darryl Marshak who is producing for The Marshak/Zachary Co. and Andrew Sugerman (Conviction, Undisputed) for Pantheon Entertainment. Any Day is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
