Premiering on Tuesday, October 27, is the Netflix original documentary series The One About Matthew Perry directed by Mary Robertson and produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Maxine Productions. Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, The Walking Dead: Dead City, Dickinson, Rosaline, One of Us Is Lying, Night Teeth, Turtles All the Way Down, I Know What You Did Last Summer, All of You, Good Girls) has composed the show’s original music. The 3-parter, which traces Perry’s journey from rising comedic star to the man the world still loves as their favorite Friend, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie Captain America: Brave New World directed by Julius Onah and starring Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Lumbly, Liv Tyler, Xosha Roquemore and Tim Blake Nelson. The film’s original music is composed by Laura Karpman (The Marvels, Miss Marvel, American Fiction, What If…?, Lovecraft Country, Paris Can Wait, Set It Up). Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Wednesday. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as a song performed by Colman last November when the movie opened in the UK. ‘Timestalker’ Soundtrack Released
Invada Records has released a soundtrack album for the British sci-fi romantic comedy Timestalker. The album features the film’s original music composed by Toydrum (Prevenge, Slow Horses, Platform 7, Three Pines, Deep Water, The Banishing). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ first track (Dawning of Time) below. Timestalker is written and directed by Alice Lowe and stars Lowe herself, Aneurin Barnard, Tanya Reynolds, Kate Dickie, Jacob Anderson and Nick Frost. The movie follow a hapless woman through time as she repeatedly falls for the wrong guy, dies a grim death, gets reincarnated a century later, before meeting him again and starting the cycle anew.

The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third and fourth season composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Across/Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, The Trial of the Chicago 7, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) & Toydrum (Prevenge, Three Pines, Platform 7, Deep Water, The Banishing) who recently received an Emmy Award nomination for their work on Season 3. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score from Season 2, while Polydor Records has released the Season 1 soundtrack. Premiering on Wednesday, May 29, is the Hulu documentary series Camden directed by Asif Kapadia and executive produced by Dua Lipa, Dukagjin Lipa, Simon Chinn, Jonathan Chinn, Suzanne Lavery, Nick Shymansky, Jasper Waller-Bridge and Ben Friedman. The show’s original score is composed by Toydrum (Slow Horses, Detour, Prevenge, Three Pines, Platform 7, The Banishing, Future World, Sweetheart). The Lightbox production, which reveals the untold stories of how the lives and careers of some of the world’s most iconic artists were influenced by this corner of London, is premiering in the U.S. on Hulu and in most international markets on Disney+.
Also premiering on Wednesday is the HBO original documentary Moviepass, Moviecrash directed by Muta’Ali about the rise and implosion of the theatrical movie subscription app as told through the eyes of the visionary co-founders. The details of the second soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Slow Horses have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, Ocean’s 8) and Toydrum (Prevenge, Three Pines, Deep Water, The Banishing). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 17 by Platoon (click here to stream/download). Polydor Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring the score from Season 1 and the opening titles song Strange Game performed by Mick Jagger last year.

Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon/Prime Video original series Three Pines. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Toydrum (Detour, Prevenge, The Banishing, Slow Horses, Future World, Sweetheart). The soundtrack will released digitally tomorrow, December 2 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Three Pines is based on the best-selling book series of the same by Louise Penny and stars Alfred Molina, Rossif Sutherland, Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers, Sarah Booth, Pierre Simpson, Julian Bailey and Frédéric-Antoine Guimond. The 8-part thriller centers on the Chief Inspector of the Sûreté du Québec and his team as they investigate a series of perplexing murders in a mysterious Eastern Townships village.
